Hey guys,

I've been in Montreal for two days. So far I have had nothing but positive experiences here. The city is cool, people have been friendly (even though I don't speak French well) and I have had got makeouts both nights that I went out.

However tonight I ran into one incredibly rude set of girls. I don't know exactly what was going on but I was standing near three ok (but nothing special) looking girls who were trying to get their friend to drink something. I offered my drink, saying, 'Try this' and I got the most rude response imaginable. They were like, 'WHO are you?!!!'. Then I think one of them said, 'Are you here alone?!!!'. I said, 'Yeah, I am, just arrived in Montreal.' I did call those girls out, saying, 'Why do you have to be so rude, I was only being friendly?' One of the girls pushed me, as if to say 'Keep your distance.' Honestly I wasn't far from knocking her out, but good sense prevailed and I didn't.

I have NEVER encountered a reaction like from these b**ches. I have to say it knocked me sideways, but I got talking to other people, who were even younger than these girls (I'm 36 but look younger) and they were totally friendly. It's not that I'm so upset, it's more like I don't want to deal with that kind of rudeness again. Has it happened to you guys? And if so how do you deal with it without being angry/pissed off? Just brush it off? Seriously, if people were like this, just not wanting to talk to any 'random' guy, I wouldn't even bother going out. I often fly solo and love it but obviously these girls thought I was totally creepy for being alone - I never had that reaction before.

I guess I would just appreciate some of you saying this is normal, it happens and I shouldn't let me put it off my game.

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

Yeah, you're right. I was just surprised at how utterly rude they were. It's so uncalled for. Even if the ugliest, fattest bish in the world said something to me in a club, I would still be polite. I just don't see why there's any reason to be nasty. Just left a bad taste in my mouth.

It happens...part of the game...don't be bothered by it.

One night I approached an hb6 in the club, I don't remember exactly what I said but it was just some standard sh!t like "Hi, do you come here often?". Bytch looked at me like I was raping here or something and told me: "Why are you talking to me?" She turned her back towards me and her friend also looked at me with a look of disgust on her face.

I was like WTF?!?! I looked great, I felt great, I didn't act in a weird way or do anything else to deserve such a response. Especially not from an HB6...

So one hour later, I kiss closed an HB8.5 who I approached in a similar way. Just goes to show...

Sometimes things just don't make sense when you're gaming women, lol. Shrug it off and never, ever, ever take it personally! Just laugh about it when girls respond like that, it indicates THEY have a problem, not you...

Thanks man. Yeah, after that happened I was a bit shocked I guess. But I got talking to some much younger (and better looking) Russian and Romanian HB8s. They were just... friendly, and nice. I'm not sure why everybody can't be like that. Rejection is absolutely fine but I'm not sure why some woman would revel in being as nasty as possible about it. She was in a big group (I didn't know when I spoke to her) and was probably feeling super 'brave' because of that.

Anyway, onwards and upwards I suppose.

You can't fault a woman for being apprehensive to a complete stranger offering her a drink at a nightclub lol. All that aside, so many women have these senses of entitlement, like they're better than everybody else and far more attractive than they actually are.

I knew a girl who was self conscious about her looks, but was really a HB9, she was real sweet, then she starts hanging out with a HB3 who thinks she's hot (she's actually fat and has bad acne) and now the HB9 is just like her.

Some women are bad enough alone, but if they're in a circle with these types of girls it just makes matters worse. Treat them like a **** and knock them back into reality.

I don't know if it's normal where you live or were raised but it's kind of weird to just offer a stranger your drink.

Yeah I didn't say in the OP but I was just standing there drinking my drink and these two girls were trying to get their friend to drink something (probably water). Just jokingly, I said, here, 'Try this'. I'm not even sure why. Then one of the girls got kind of mad and kept telling me, 'You f**ked it up!'. I'm not exactly sure what I f**ked up to be honest.

I wasn't trying to pour some rohypnol-laced ****tail down her throat, it was just a friendly opener, albeit probably not a very good one.

El Payaso, I was raised in the Siberian wastelands by wolves so, yeah, it was pretty normal.

We know you weren't trying to give her roofies, but they don't. It's good that she didn't just accept a drink from a random stranger. Even if you were trying to make a joke about it, it might not come off that way, it's hard to hear things in a club and depending on the scenario they could have taken you seriously (which it seems like they did). I'm not sure what you ****ed up, but what's done is done. Don't use that opener anymore lol.

Yeah, Miss "safety first" turned down a drink from a stranger, BUT I'm willing to bet she went home with one and let him bang her raw all night long. So much for "being safe" huh?

True, but that might have been after they chit chatted after a while. She probably didn't want to just straight up take his drink without any convo. I've tried the same thing, it doesn't work. However if I establish a rapport with the girl and am deemed "safe" by her, she acts completely different and doesn't have her wall up.

This happens a lot in my social circle. If I'm with my group of friends (like last night at the club), and I approach a girl while I'm having fun in a non threatening way she'll usually talk to me. If I randomly approach her alone, 9 times out of 10 she won't talk to me. It just depends on the situation and if she views you as having social status.

That's the thing, I was alone. I moved here two days ago and don't know a soul. I actually love rolling solo (although having a good wing is great too) and that's the first negative experience I've had, where a girl has called me out for being alone, with a heavy implication that only total losers would be in a club by themselves. Just never happened before. The girl was just nasty I guess. Most people are at least polite. I don't know why anybody would feel the need to be so rude. What's the point? It benefits noone.

Neither does you trying to show her how rude/wrong she is. I am guessing you are moving from a small town? In the big city, you just don't know what people have been through and so you have to be prepared for anything and be able to brush off anything. I remember a few months ago, this guy was acting crazy in the club, bumping into people and trying to start a fight with the bouncer. Turns out, his twin brother was recently killed. That doesn't condone his actions, but that kind of context makes you realize that some people are dealing with things greater than 'being polite in the club'. He was also in a mindset where anyone who tried to tell him how rude he was being was antagonizing him.

I remember in college, I had a friend who was rejected harshly in college and for days he talked about how wronged and impolite the girl was. What he didn't realize was that while we all agreed that the girl was wrong, he was wasting time and effort thinking about how wrong she was and how he could show her how wrong/rude she is. Everyone thinks they are doing the world a favor by telling someone how rude their are, but more often than not they are increasing the likelihood of an escalation. Next thing you know, you are in jail or her crazy ex-boyfriend is coming after you because you tried to show her how rude she was and she told her boyfriend about the situation... now you have to watch your back everywhere you go.

Chalk it up to a terrible upbringing and move on.

You think that's bad, a girl I knew actually used that exact same line on me once.

She was actually a casual acquaintance, and a friend of mine was dating her. So, with that in mind, we found ourselves in close quarters and I started chatting with her, being friendly. A little bit into the conversation she rolled her eyes and said "WHY are you talking to me"? I was like, damn.

Now this was really her problem, because she was a very painfully shy, withdrawn woman with poor social skills, partly because of the way she was raised, and I guess I overloaded her introverted senses. So I knew it was really on her, but I still felt like an @ss.

Fortunately, she has come out of her shell more in recent years, and she now is very friendly with me, so all's well that ends well.

Yeah, thanks for the responses guys. It's no big deal. Just the first time I have had such an extreme reaction. Rejection is par for the course, but not like that.

Macaliik, ironically I'm coming from the biggest city in the world (Tokyo) and I lived in London before that. But people are fairly polite there (Tokyo I mean, not London). Also very few Japanese girls would be confident enough to be that aggressive in English. The worst that I had there was just a turn away.

I guess it bothered me because it made me sort of question whether I WAS weird for being a 36 year old guy in a club alone but certaintly a lot of girls don't seem to have a problem with it. I hope to avoid the few that do.

P.S. Zekko, I can't believe that happened to you. I don't know why women feel the need to be quite so cvntish sometimes. Those girls that are have crazily inflated opinions of themselves. I like humility.

The reason why some women are rude in clubs is because they "can" be. And the reason they can is because they KNOW that it's a place where they have to upper hand.

All a lot of them see before them is a long line of salivating suckers waiting to kiss their asss for the "possibility" of sex.

Like princesses on thrones, they sit at bar stools full of attitude fortified by an astronomical sense of entitlement. They KNOW that they'll be approached, they KNOW that they'll have their drinks bought "for" them, and they KNOW that for every guy who won't bow his knee to them---there are a dozen desperate guys more who will.

If you understand this going in, you can mentally and emotionally prepare for the kind of inconsideration and arrogance that they'll throw at you---and maneuver around it. OR---better yet: Do most of your approaching in other more casual, more "every-day", and less "high-stakes" environments.

Yeah, though they were rude OP, lets be real here.

Some random older guy was offering them a drink in a club...and not a drink they saw the bartender just hand you. I can see why they were put off.

I had a similar thing happen to me a few years ago. I was out with a good size group of friends (guys and girls) and there was a girl in our group, who for some reason all the guys in my group kissed her @$$. Not me. Matter of fact I never really spoke to her that much. She just gave off this vibe of a stuckup b!tch, but I never said anything because I knew all my white knight friends would be like "oh how could you say something so awful!". Anyways I was at the bar buying a beer, she comes up beside me and asks "can you order me a so and so?"Sure, wtf not. I ordered it and the bartender comes back with both drinks and gave me the total for BOTH drinks. Yeah, um, not only no but HE!! no. I tossed him $4 and said "I'm just paying for my beer" and walked off. I'm now known as the world's biggest jack@$$ to her.

you're wrong. just because they were put off doesnt give them license to be cvnts.

theres nicer ways to decline a friendly gesture or even an approach than "why are you talking to me"
Agree. Why does it matter if he's an older guy who's a stranger? Does that mean it would be perfectly acceptable if he was a younger guy that was a stranger? What's all this b.s. with women being scared of strangers all of a sudden anyways? Yeah bad sh!t happens in the world, I get that. It's not only men who commit crimes you know! Did anyone happen to see the news lately of the crazy b!tch in PA who killed over 20 people and was in some kind of weird satanic cult? Am I now supposed to assume that EVERY women I don't know is in a satanic cult and has murdered 20 men? It must really suck to go through life being scared as fvck about everyone and everything.
