Rom Willis-Culture determines who is good looking

Hate to say it but I stated this on sosuave.net before. Just because someone is considered good looking doesn't mean they are. Yes it's a bit of a paradox and I'm not comfortable judging men like black pillers, but case in example Jeremy Meeks. If he hideous? No but he took a near perfect picture, if you see his other pictures he's not good looking at all and looks like a typical mulatto. His saving grace was his picture and his blue eyes which is a rarity in the black community. Plus in America that's 1 part of the European beauty standard

I had felt the same thing about the Meeks picture. His normal energy is not good, and that's not a good looking dude. His one prison pic he took a perfect picture. The odd ball "blue" eyes are his one standout feature for "looks".

Within that particular "race" they will bias towards "their" own looks and mannerisms.

You know it. But socially they do get "heat" added into them, due to the attention they get.

The attention you get "can" matter... Personally I preach personal responsibility and owning your own energy, so it comes from the inside of you. Still no matter how confident you are more can be added from the outside.

It does. In some cultures where food was scarce in the past, being overweight was viewed as very attractive because it meant you had access to food and must have status.

Culture has always had an influence. Chinese feet-binding, african tribes with their scarring, mayan head binding; samoan cultures blackening their teeth or having them filed to points, these are all cultural things we'd probably consider to be disgusting in the west if we saw them now.

Women care less about looks than men do though. I've seen prototypical tall, blonde, blue eyed women hanging out with short brown fat bolivian guys in germany because they're surrounded by tall blond blue eyed men and want something different.

My uncle tells the story that he went to a forestry convention in Finland in the 70s and the black guys that went were accosted with poon because they were such a novelty.

A lot of it has to do with how you carry yourself. Have you ever heard a woman say "he has something?" That something is charisma and confidence.

"Light skins" aren't "in" these days. They always drag Drake. Chris Brown is light and doesn't get dragged but most other light skins do. So "light " isn't helping Meeks case within the blacks.

when i was in GA i had a hard time at first being lightskin, but eventually slayed almost every chick in the warehouse . but out west lightskins do well, plus the ''eyes''? its over. this white chick from ny commented on how she liked my eyes while i was in georgia, her boyfriend compared my face to jeremy meeks saying i was handsome black dude
