"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

for girls who have never done it before (99% of the population), would this be too much as a first date? i climb frequently, as well as do a lot of hiking and back country skiing.

when i do these activities i usually go with a designated group of buddies, mostly guys, do you guys think brining a college/club girl unto one of these trips is a good idea?

or should i stick with smaller things in my city?

thanks

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

How about something that will allow her to feel comfortable while getting to know you?

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Rock Climbing could be fun if you do it indoors at one of those rock climbing centres.

You could also go for a coffee date, but that requires you to be able to hold a convo and be a charming bastard.

I agree. Do it in door that way she isn't that scared, and she will still associate you with 'being excited'!

Going to some place for coffee sounds really boring to me. It reminds me of one of those guys who carry a laptop around with them. Additionally, I wouldn't want to spend too much time with some chick who's going to end up with stained teeth from drinking all that coffee. If she insists on meeting someplace like that, then I think you should have better things to do with your time.

I think you should have meet her place or your place to 'watch a movie' and just get sex out of the way, to be honest. If you can't pull that off, then how about a walk through the zoo followed by a picnic in the park (hopefully there is one nearby). Art museum is too quite for me.\

As far as rock climbing goes, that might be OK for some girls, but it's not for everyone. That's something I'd be more likely to do down the road. I really don't think you need to impress most women to sleep with them, since women are generally much more sexual than men to begin with.

It's funny to see just how many ways that guys come up with to avoid just sitting down with a woman face to face to get to know her. One day you guy's will realize that more guys than just you can take her rock climbing, movies, zoos or where ever. What you guys need to learn is how to get her interested enough in you, not what you do or where you take her.
