"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

i'm just throwing a question out here, trying to get a few responses: i'm sure most of you hold the belief that an ex. is an ex. period. anyone who tries to "relight the candle" is just reading a book through again. some funny parts you never got before, but still the same ending.
But what about getting back into a relationship which ended due to uncontrollable changes ie moving areas/countries? (quite a big deal for us young ones).
is there always a chance to rekindle a flame in that situation? if so, how? given that things were going fine before the change occured.
i'd love to hear some responses.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Yes that is completely different then breaking up because of cheating on each other, fighting etc. Just start a new you have a butt load of stuff to talk to her about already. Just ask her to lunch and see where it goes. Its up to you to make something for yourself.

If it ended due to circumstances you had no control over, then there should be no barrier preventing the relationship resuming. As long as there were no soppy “how come you are leaving me” type comments then you should be fine. You didn’t break up, you were snapped apart.
Call her up and tell her you want to see her, that’s how you rekindle a flame.

yeah it was a definite "if i wasn't going away, i would definitely keep this thing going." if she was just some chick, i wouldn't really mind, but she was my best friend (not in the LJBF kind of way), for about three years before-hand, so we are definitely going to be meeting up again.
