"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

I figured this should go here in the Anything Else Section. Mainly a post to the Moderators in relation to the posting maximum rule. I believe this needs to be removed, what do other Forum members here think?

I have no idea why this rule is here? It makes no sense because if the purpose of the rule is to eliminate Trolls, well, as we have seen lately the rule has done a piss poor job of doing that. If the purpose of the rule is to discourage people from posting on SoSuave all day and to "go out into the real world", again, if someone has no life with a ton of time to sit around posting on Sosuave all day, then if there's a posting maximum they will just go to another Board and post there for the remainder of the day.

This rule needs to be eliminated. You get into a decent discussion or debate with Forum Members, and you can't respond for 24 hours until the posting maximum is lifted. This rule completely and utterly makes no sense.

Plus, while the posting maximum is in place, apparently you can still create a new thread. Lol, come on Moderators, it's time to do away with this insane rule.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

So according to that thread, the site owner is the one who implemented this rule.

Yep! He sure did.... but before that it was chaos! Members posting and replying to 11 things or more! I tease. It was nonstop posting. Which was great until members didn't get along with each other's opinions and flamed each other. Eventually something had to give and this was a choice he made. Less issues now.

There's pros and cons. Nothing wrong with status quo. I hit the limit sometimes but nobody needs 10+ posts a day. I see where you're coming from. I don't care too much though because that would give the trolls more power. some guys on this site make a new account, post 10 times, and get banned. might be better this way.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

It's Lazy Moderating

Why is that other message boards that have a posting limit? Maybe it's because trouble makers are quickly bounced from the board. On a forum such as this, trolling and flame wars are bound to happen. The problem is that So Suave is quite slow to bounce obvious trouble makers and trolls from the forum

There is something to be said for "a little less conversation a little more action". After 10 posts one should spend the rest of the day in real life. Just my opinion.

this question has been asked for years now, it's no point in asking because it wont happen

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

I think this is like a court case. If you have nothing new to say, the judge isnt gonna change his decission based on things he's already heard before. I'm sure the owner knows people don't like it but has decided that it's worth it anyway.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.
