"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Being a man = Repressing and controlling your emotions.

Many scientific studies tell us how repressing and controlling our emotions is harmful to our health.
Maybe this is why women live longer than men.

Jokes aside, the older and more mature we become, the more assertive and responsible we become, the more a man's job is to act as a filter for impurities and to have an internal system for controlling and repressing emotions.
Men suffer: to appear strong, it's their job to "not be understood" by others.
They hide things, rather than say, "Guys, I'm suffering, and I need a break, or your help for a while."
Instead, they just keep going.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Eventually you figure out nobody cares what you think anyways. I don't know any men that died early because they repressed their emotions. But I do know plenty of older women that expressed their emotions too many times and are single and lonely because of it.

First of all, women do not repress their emotions, I don't know where you read that, but you need to get away from your computer and go walk around for an hour outside.

Repressing your emotions as a man is about the single best thing you could do. I so wish, for so many reasons, I had a better handle on that trigger. I can't even remotely describe the level of angst and issues it would have avoided to be stoic.

Control/mastering, NOT repression. It's the difference between

-Flipping the table over when the steak has a bit too much salt on it, like an overgrown toddler

Vs

Calling the waiter over, calmly yet firmly explaining that the order is unsatisfactory

its maybe impossible. the emotional hook gets in ahead of your logic. your logic tells to be stoic, and yes that's solid. issue is that the emotional hook catches upstream from that logic. and you react before thinking. its not that you don't know better, its that the emotional hook gets processed first. then later self criticism for not catching it.

have to adjust the where the hook lands. its chemical..... if we get in tune the hook will not catch. then the flow goes to your logic and you can decide what you want to do if anything.

acting verses reacting.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
