"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

So last week I finally decided to break the ice and give a guy that I'm interested in my number and told him to text/call sometime. He said sure and took it.However I ran into him the next day and the first thing he said was "not only did I lost your number but I broke my phone at soccer last night. Then he proceed to tell me that his phone cost him 600 bucks and was disappointed over the loss. There was an awkward silence then he said,he didn't do it on purpose...Yet he made no attempt to ask for my number again.

I feel like he was trying to let me down easy...I just don't believe him.I know things like this happen but it is too much of concidence that now he broke his phone after getting my number. Is this rejection?

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Yes its probably rejection. I get "my phone broke/not working properly" excuses at least once a week from girls. If somebody really wants to see you, they will make it happen. Its too bad people can't be honest, but most can't handle rejection either.
