"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Rejection: Why do you even care?

Another thing I thought about today while standing around at work.

Think about your life right now. Think about the people you interact with, and the ones you see once, maybe twice. Think about where you might be a year from now, where you will be ten years from now.

Got it?

Now I want you to think about that guy that cut you off on the street by the Starbucks a year and a half ago. Oh, you can't remember? Did it even happen? Does it matter who that guy was?

No?

Well how about the one time this guy you used to go to school with a year ago, didn't say hi to you in class. Do you really care about that right now?

No?

Ok, think about that hot girl that you just saw, the one with the black pants and that shiny lip gloss. Oooh yeah, her. Hair down to the waist, booty so scrumptious your nike's are turning into pools. Now, think about what would happen if you ask her out, and she rejects you. Will you care in a year? Will you even remember her in a year? In ten years?

So why are you getting flustered? The crowd? You think they'll remember this in 6 months, much less a year? Ten?

Afraid of your boys reactions to you getting denied? Did they go up to her? Did they even try? Then why are they splashing the hater-aide on you by spittin all that jibba-jabber?

Seriously folks, Rejection: why do you even care? None of the girls that said no to you will matter the second after you get their reply. Most you won't even remember about in a year, or ten years. So why not chalk this up to lady luck, and go for it. You will either get some sex, or another memory that will soon fade away out of it. Combine this with your
options , and you have no reason to worry about rejection.

So uh...why are you still reading this? Go get those rejections/numbers!
