"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

I've been going to some different pubs around my area.

Have been to this uber trendy pub a couple of times and it is full of REALLY scrawney guys with some of the hottest chicks I have ever seen.
The hot chicks -with...on the arms of- really scrawney weaklings.

These guys are all very softly spoken and seem to have very little confidence. All roughly 18-20 years old. Chicks about the same age.

Can anyone shed some light on this phenomenon?

It's like...everything that's true just flew out of the window. I approached a couple of chicks at the bar and they all said the same thing to me. "You look like a player." The walked off.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Maybe, just maybe, it's a gay pub with cross dressers. :D

Nah mate. Maybe it's a place for male models or something. If you want to make an impression you must pick their top guy who is in the vip, VIP, V.I.P. room and challenge him to a walk off.

Wow, it's been a long time since I last visited these boards.

To answer your question. It really doesn't matter if you're skinny or chunky. I wouldn't go as far as, it wouldn't matter if you were fat (I think it does). But the thing is these guys are the "attractive" ones right now. You might go somewhere else and chunky guys might be more desirable. That place isn't for you probably. Go look around at some other places.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

"Kill the President of Malaysia!"

Are you talking about rockstar/druggie kinda skinny? It just doesn't fit into place with the trendy pub. I know dumb girls like that rockstar look.

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

Yeah, you were probably in a pub that caters to Emo kids. Those chicks go for the scrawny, emotional guys. They're all in bands and love to talk about the obscure indie bands they like. These girls drink up that that pseudo-intellectual drivel. They think it means something. Those kids are players too - but they're operating under different rules. Best thing to do is learn both methods. Unfortunately there are no websites devoted to picking up chicks within a trend setting.

I wouldn't worry about it. They'll still respond to the same kinds of things. You just have to tailor your approaches to be a little more "emo-friendly."

Yeah, they all love skinny boys too. A lot of my emo gal friends mention that. "I love pale, skinny boys."

I've noticed this too. A good deal of the time when you see a really attractive woman she is with a white guy who is really skinny and acts/dresses urban (a whigger). Who knows why though, maybe its just the fad.

Maybe it's a fad.
Sure as hell makes no sense to me.

Why would any chick want to screw a man with the body of pre-pubescent girl, when they could bang a studly guy like me with my hunky body and hair that doesn't look like someone just threw a bucket of water over me?

I'm skinny and plan on staying that way because I like the skinny look plus it is better for your body later in life to stay skinny.

I do plan on bulking up but I don't have that prepubescent look, I think it looks gay and effeminiate personally

That would be me.:D

Except for the part about "all the girls." Some like it, some don't.
