It definitely makes a difference what your purpose is. If your purpose is to build the biggest model railroad or civil war diorama that you can fit in your garage, it's probably not going to help you get women. If it's something that can give you status or get you out socializing with people, it will likely help you meet more women, and make you more interesting to them. Like playing music, racing motorcycles, playing baseball, or something like that.
Absolutely.

But you can’t (or perhaps shouldn’t) force yourself into something you aren’t interested in just to get women.

If your job and/or hobbies just aren’t sexy to women, I think you just have to own it. It is what it is. Your passion is your passion. You gotta do you.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

To me the purpose is what defines you individually, your very own identity, the reason for your existence beyond women because when a woman leaves you you're still left with that purpose in life to pursue. OR...in many cases you give up your purpose to please the woman and then when she still leaves you, you're left with nothing - never do this.

I highly recommend watching "The Founder" the true story of McDonald's. Right or wrong that man found his purpose.
