Nowadays it would be impossible to find a person without red flags. With this I would like to get to the point that it is good to see whether or not a woman, or a man you want to befriend, or a relative or family member has red flags, personality disorders, etc, but the fact is that you will not find people exempt from this.

Of course, you don't want to be around those who do drugs, drink, or do illicit things.
But at the same time, people who respect you, and who "work" every day like you to improve themselves, can have dark and difficult moments that bring out the monster within them. Just like it happened to you.
This is why I believe that filtering people for red flags is right, but at the end of the day, they will argue and disrespect, from time to time, even if they respect you.

Just curious to hear more about your take, after your many life experiences.

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

Hey, that’s the theory that no one’s perfect and we all have issues we need to work on from time to time. What your responsibility as a Man in this modern age, is yes, strive for self improvement, work on your issues and inner game yet don’t strive for perfection, work on your empathy skills too so you can have a good foundation for connecting and relating to others. One book I recommend is Emotional Intelligence, it brings a good topic on this issue.
