"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

So I went out with this girl the other night, she was pretty darn hot, first date since I ended my last relationship. Just went for coffee then went to her place and checked it out. Anyways, she just got out of a serious relationship like 3 months ago. Same with me.

Do you guys feel that if I go after her at this point, I'll be the rebound guy?

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

most likely she won't be over her ex entirely, but it doesn't harm playing it casual and see for yourself

The reason I'd agree with you is that I'm in the same position, and I can't say I'm totally over my ex either, especially since we didn't have a bad breakup.

Do you mind sharing why you broke up with your girlfriend? I actually just broke up with mine, but it was bad because I couldn't keep my cool...

Maybe you can reply to my post.

Becker you never know how this will end up. If her ex was a real jerk she will probably try to find a really nice guy as her next date because she probably vowed to never let guys like that get to her. Unfortuntly after she gets her self esteem back she will go right back after the unpredictable jerk/don juans out there.

Chicks often need/use 1 or 2 guys for a rebound after a difficult breakup. Treat her like you treat any other date by making sure you have other options if she decides to bail on you.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Yeah, basically we were not really that compatible with each other, and she was a little immature. Sexually we worked out very well, but I think in other areas, our interests just did not coincide much at all. It's difficult to even be friends with her because of this, unfortunately because in the end, we are both good people. What happened with yours?

DJ, you're right, it's always unpredictable. I'm supposed to do something with her this weekend. She's pretty down to earth from the time I've spent with her, so I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt. I wonder if I should even dive into the conversation of why her last relationship didn't work out.
