Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

Ok, heres the story. I met this girl a few weeks ago through a friend. We really liked eachother from the beginnign and she was giving me major signs. B4 the night was over she asked for my number and i got hers as well. The next day she even drove over her other "friend's" house, but it was really just to see me. Anyways, the night after that, which was a monday, i called her up and asked her if she would like to hang out when she had soem free time. Right away she asked what i was doing that upcoming weekend. So we made plans for that sunday. A few days pass, and i try calling her on friday to see how she was. She nvr answered. Turns out she nvr answered or returned my phone calls. About 4 in total over three days. So a week goes by and i see her the following weekend. SHe was pretty nice to me and tried to flirt a lil, but i was kinda cold to her, which stopped her a lil. Anyways, its about 3 weeks later and i havent talked to her and i really wanna see where this thing will/could go. What should i do? call her to see whats up or what? ANd when i speak to her, what should i talk about? SHould i mention her flaking?

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

since you've called her a few times... i'll give you the right to call again and leave a message...

make it a nice message and right to the point... don't say some stupid **** as if you've been dating her for a months.

i'd do something like "hey kid... its blah blah... i thought id just call once more to see if you'd want to get together to do <something>... call me back... loveto hear from ya. bye"

or something like that.

if she doesnt call back... move on... she has.

if she answers... make sure you weren't expecting an answering machine... and know what your plan is... short and sweet then bye.

^^^same thing if she calls you back

Honestly... I see this thing going nowhere if its been a few weeks since you last talked to her, the flings over.
Atleast for her
Move on.

But hey feel free to be my guest if you want to prove me wrong.

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

doesnt hurt to call, you wont see her ever again to feel "embarassment" of rejection or you might even get a chance again... but if you havent made a move since i gave you a reply... thats been even longer...

better make a move

the reason why im waiting is because there was this whole situation with her being my friends cousin and him being a major ****block and trying to ruin everything.
