"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Didn't want to create a new thread, but curious on some ideas as I haven't encountered this yet.

I'm October..
-got girls number
-had date setup and cancelled because I was in my then failing relationship
-tried to setup two other dates, no luck

I see her today and she does a lean looksie loo....
-texts me afterward...
Her: what percent are you done with the tour? (inside joke from when we previously chatted)
Me: Hey stranger. Good to see you again.
Me: 85%. Ask me again in an hour
Her: I past right by you last week but you didn't acknowledge me so I figured it was your evil twin.
Me: Ya. He's in his own world. Just smack his ass, that usually works
Me: How you been?
Her: Lol ok next time I will... so what tour were u doing?.
Her: I been good.. I might be moving up soon.. it's in the hush hush right now(wink emoji)
Me: its about time
Her: year 7. Its lucky number 7
Me: its a 3day program I built
Her: you built?
Me: Ya. 3 days of new hire training. Eesh... Gotta get bback
Her: Have fun Make sure you know what you're talking about! (wink emoji)
Me: I could probably teach you a couple things (wink emoji)

Then I went back to work... I'm not sure where interest is at, to be honest, she had to "Work through things" with an ex when we last chatted in November and gave Me the "don't hate me" line... I have this really bad habit of getting two convos going.. Sigh...

My thoughts... Lets go celebrate at xxx

???

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

I would play it cool and say "good seeing you....looking good. Don't be a stranger ".

See how she reacts.

I like showing interest and then leaving it open. That way she will have to slightly invest to keep the convo going. I don't think I would mention going out to celebrate yet. Play a little hard to get.

If you read that post as if someone else asked this question, what advice would you give that person?

I dunno. Thays why I'm asking. I would probably say it doesn't hurt. A girl sees you and texts you meaning you struck some cord with her. Doesn't hurt to pursue, but don't invest too much into it.

Took @Glassguy advice and got an immediate response. Texted for a bit, then I said cut it short and said I had to go to the gym. If she reaches out again, I'll go for setting up a date... Otherwise it may just be her trying to talk about her promotion and seeking attention.

“The 22 Psychological Triggers That Make Women Chase You… Starting Tonight”

Forget the cash, the cars, and the chiseled jawlines. Female desire operates on a completely different frequency. Primal. Subconscious. Triggers that bypass her logic and hit her on a gut level. Most guys are totally blind to them.

I know because I was one of them. The overthinking. The paralysis. The silent drive home kicking yourself for freezing up. Watching average guys walk away with the girl while you stood there stuck in your own head.

Then I decoded the psychology behind what actually makes women tick. 22 hard rules.  Subtle behavioral shifts that rewired my entire reality. The anxiety evaporated. Women started leaning in. Investing. Chasing.

I think she is fishing for a little validation. Probably bored, no other guys to deliver her daily dose of attention.

Ask her out, but expect her to flake.

Don't play games.

If you want to sleep with this women then make a move. If you don't, then delete her number.

You guys make this stuff more complex than it is.
I agree.

Me: Good seeing you today. You're looking good. Dont be a stranger.......
Her: Good seeing you too and I wont be
Me: I am going out to such and such place Thursday night. Join up at 8pm and we will catch up.

At this point she is either going to jump on it, give you some flaky half a$$ answer or not respond.

You will either get a commitment or waste no more time depending on her response.

Sometimes it's all about timing. You never know what someone has going on in their life.

Sometimes it's a promising person who crosses your path at an inopportune time or vice versa.

Glad you got a date set. Give it a fresh start & see what happens.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

This is what I do when something like that occurs to me. I simply assume interest and try setting up a meeting. Escalate and see what happens.

Where you in the friendzone 3 months before? If no, your back and forth texting suggests you still are in the zone.
Not at all. We tried to setup getting together, just never seemed to work out

UPDATE:
We went out to happy hour for a little bit. Had a great time. Got back to her place and... dropped her off. She said "I had a great time" and put her arm up to give me a hug. I went in for the kiss which seemed to catch her off guard. kissed back pretty passionately, bit my lip (sexy!), haven't gotten a text yet...

A couple things...
Should I get out of the car when I pick her up? I just texted "I'm here"
Should I walk her to door? it was daytime
After I kissed her (prob about 20 seconds or so), she seemed frazzled and was like "okay, I got to do" and scurried off... whats that about?

That's enough chit chat. Now arrange to go out.

Her: Have fun Make sure you know what you're talking about!
She's basically telling you ask her to go out here.

Doesn't matter that you asked her out before. You were tied up with someone else. Also that was five months ago; times and you have changed. The reason why she gets back in touch is because you handled the situation correctly first time round; i.e. without desperation.

Should I get out of the car when I pick her up? I just texted "I'm here" I always send a text when i'm 5minutes away and greet her at her front door.
Should I walk her to door? it was daytime If its a first date I don't. just seems a bit much.
After I kissed her (prob about 20 seconds or so), she seemed frazzled and was like "okay, I got to do" and scurried off... whats that about?[/QUOTE] Who knows, just assume she liked it. if she didn't turn her cheek or seem apprehensive then its all good.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
