"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

I just got done from hanging out with some friends. We live in Nashville, and are all musicians. One of the people I was with is a well known country singer (HB 9). At one point it's just me and her sitting at a high top table in the middle of this super packed bar.

This guy walks up and starts trying to talk to her. While he's walking over she starts kicking me to get my attention about this dude. I noticed him trying to get her attention just before. He comes up and starts talking to her. She's a big girl, so I'm not going to jump in and scare him off unless I need to. (You can look at this guy and tell he has no game). After a minute she grabs my hand and (it's so loud I can't hear her) proceeds to tell this guy I'm her boyfriend.

He keeps pestering her though. She leans over and kisses me to try to get him to leave. Once I get up and say "what's going on here man" he finally walks away.

A minute later the band plays one of my favorite songs. So I jump up and run up right in front of the stage and sing along. Cause it's an awesome song. When I come back to the table (maybe three minutes later) the same dude is over there trying to talk to her again!

So I walk up and put my arm around her, get between them. She says to him, "I'm with him. This is my boyfriend" and I give her a little kiss.

So I ask "what're you trying to do here man?" and he's starts trying to say that even though she's here with me (her supposed boyfriend), she should go and dance with him anyway. I just stand right in front of her and freeze him out till he walks away.

What on earth is up with some guys? When a girl says "I have a boyfriend" nine times out of ten she's saying "I'm not interested" but she's trying to be nice about it. Trying to help you save face. Most girls don't want to outright reject you. They feel bad. Maybe some guys can overcome this rejection and still get the girl, but this guy had no game.

When a girl says "I have a boyfriend" you need to say "OK. It's been nice meeting you. I'll see you later" and then you leave. I don't know why some guys STILL try to get the girl to carry on with them. Maybe he's one of those guys who approaches girls like sales, how you have to overcome objections and all that. But some people just don't want to be sold to.

Ugh. OK. The rant's over.

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

I agree 100%. Is it so hard to accept the fact that a girl isn't interested in you? Or that she might actually have a boyfriend? Pestering girls who are taken (or claim to be taken out of convenience for rejecting you) isn't manly--it's rude and obnoxious.

No, you just don't know how to game them.

Just because she says "I have a boyfriend", doesn't mean sh!t. She could be really into you, and be thinking of sex with you, but is feeling guilty, so she has to mention it to make herself feel better.

"I have a boyfriend" just means you have telegraphed too much interest.

You don't need to walk away, you could still get her number. What if she was to break up with him the next week? You guys are doing it wrong, don't walk away at the drop of that single line.

"I have a boyfriend"

"Awesome, can he cook? Maybe we could get together sometime and he can cook us dinner".

This is really some of the worst advice I've heard. So maybe if you've been talking to this girl for alittle bit and you can tell she's digging you and she mentions the boyfriend, you might could get around this objection and still get some. Definatly not with the line Lust just gave us, but if that's the kind of guy you are you might could pull it off. Whatever, that's not what this thread is about. This thread is about guys who walk up to a girl, try to get her to dance/talk, and within 10 seconds she brings up the boyfriend.

OK, so maybe in some crazy, alternate universe what Lust said makes sense in this situation, but typically when a girl says she has a boyfriend, she's trying to get rid of you. This isn't some objection to find a clever reply to. She's giving you an easy out to walk away.

Take it. If you keep going you just look like a major douche. It's embarassing, really.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.
