Quick Tinder Question

I just started using the app two nights ago and today I got matched with a Facebook friend, which I thought couldn't happen. I thought that Tinder won't show FB friends in possible matches. I don't think she made a second FB account because it's got a ton of pics and it links to her Instagram.

I'm gonna ask her tonight when I message her because we used to be friends IRL and hooked up before so it's not a big deal to talk to her. But I don't want FB friends showing up on Tinder and I don't want them to see me either.

So WTF is the deal with this?

The reason why I don't think it was her secondary account is because it showed a bunch of our mutual friends.

idk it didn't seem like it, but I guess i'll find out later.

So it's not normal to be matched with FB friends then? I can't find any sources verifying either way.

The last I read, Tinder won't match FB friends. But who knows, they can change their rules whenever they like.
