Hey all,

I haven't posted here in a long while.

I recently started going to the gym. Today most of my leg muscles feel extremely sore because of an intense workout.
So I was wondering if riding a bike at a slow tempo (20km/h) for half an hour would be fine regarding healing and building the muscles quickly. I want to get some exercise today.
Or should I let my legs rest as much as possible in order to gain muscle mass optimally?
It's a newbie question, I guess.

Thank you!

A bike ride would be great, go for it! Soreness is worse when you're a beginner and not used to so much muscle breakdown. Some light exercise is good to work it out. If you'd wait til you're done being sore to workout or exercise again, you'll be just as sore all over again when you next workout. Gotta get used to it.
