Field Report: Friday, July 10, 2026
No pull on this one, but it was a fun training night and I think I did some things well, so eff it, I’ll share.
Conditions
Packed later in the night. Lots of girls with BFs/husbands out. Loud venues, group-heavy sets.
Technical Focus
• Group ownership
• Escalation / tempo on physical sets
• Number closes on warm leads
• Running fully as solo if wing does not help
Notable Sets
Dancing Set (Biggest Learning Set)
I opened a girl physical and got her dancing. Built good compliance by singing lyrics in her ear (she laughed), finger interlock, spinning her. Felt some resistance when I tried waist/hip. Stayed in the group, escalation stalled, and she eventually ejected with “I have to go to the bathroom.”
Other Sets
• Honky Tonk set: Got physical and seemed to hook but it fizzled. Kept moving.
• Roof 2-set: Talked to both, owned it, a bit choppy early. The target tried to re-engage me as I walked away but her friend instantly blocked.
• Torn ACL girl at bar: Hooked well, vibed a few mins, she was with friends so I got the number + hug with lean-in.
Plus others where I vibed for a bit then number closed due to them being in big groups.
I number closed every set that was semi-warm and got several. Attempting to set dates for this week.
What Went Well
• Starting earlier gave me time to get warmed up and in a social mood, which made subsequent approaches easier.
• I ran it as solo perfectly despite my wing being checked out. Didn’t let the wing’s mood tank my night. Owned groups and pushed numbers on warm leads.
• Physical game is improving. I’m now getting into dancing sets with real compliance.
Leaks
• Missed isolation on the dancing set (should have pulled her off the dance floor at finger lock + laugh moment).
• Escalation on waist/hip was too direct in the group setting(she was there with two of her friends.)
• Still some hesitation on 2/3 set isolation timing.
Overall
Solid training night. A good handful of sets hooked, got several numbers, aiming for dates later in the week.
Action Items for Next Session
• If in a dancing/physical set like tonight, isolate at peak compliance (finger lock/laugh). Take her off the dance floor to bar/quieter spot then escalate from there.
• Be a bit more persistent in going for the pull.
• Strong number closes + escalation in isolation.
• Own groups and run solo as needed.
