"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

I know that your not supposed to EVER bring up the "R" word. However this one chick I've dated twice has been dropping a lot of hints. Recently she said that she has all these guys that are trying to get with her that she doesn't want any of them, (I'm not one of them, her actions have proven that.) Then she said "I'm SOO tired of being single."

We're hanging out on Saturday, she's dropping hints, and she's a HB9, I know you're not supposed to say "relationship" but what if she brings it up again...do I take the initiative? I need some help here guys.

P.S. In case your wondering, I got her number, called her once, she cancelled our original date, I told her that's too bad and that she missed her chance. She called me back multiple times and told me to give her another chance, which I did.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

if she's as interested as you think she is, then i see no harm in bringing it up... i mean, if she's interesed then it will not put her off.

let's hear what others have to say...

she is hinting at it so she is telling you she wants it. but if its only after 2 dates i would not jump on the wagon. you wanna still stay a mystery and make her wonder "does he want me, does he want me as his girl or just a friend that he likes to be with (with advantages of course).

but you could bring it up in a way that says your curious to see waht she wants. If thats what you want and she wants, then keep dating her. It should nto do harm in this case cause she is the one saying that. and the guy thing is ploy telling you she is interested in you but you better take her seriously otherwise she will leave you

Thanks Fender, so should I just wait for her to bring it up again?

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
