Question on protien source that lasts 4 hours. (not whey)

I have heard that whey protein is only useful for post work out, during mornings and on off days, ppl take the protein that lasts up 4 hrs in the system.

I did a search and nothing came up, and was totally lost at the msucledepot.com due to all the fancy names.

I was wondering can someone tell me if the 4 hours effective protein could be purchased at powder forms and the exact names of it?

Cottage cheese. is supposed to be good before you sleeep becasue of its long digestion time. I don't know if it's 4 hours, but for sure longer than other sources.

egg protein

egg protein is not utilized as quickly as whey but is an excellent protein source and stays in the body much longer......good supply of protein at bedtime for overnight

Mix the whey protein with some milk, maybe throw in some peanut butter and mix it all up. The casein in the milk will help slow the digestion, as will the fat in the peanut butter.

And as was said already, cottage cheese is another good way to get some quality slow digesting protein.
