Question on initiating phone calls

Masters of the Universe, I require your opinion with an issue.

New plate, good interest level, she lives in different city but I'll be visiting there next week for business and thought I could get an easy lay out of it. I dont like developing rapport over texts but its just easier to logistically plan this date over phone than text. So my question is: Do I simply just call her in the evening or text her and say that I'm calling / ask when she's free for a call?

I personally don't like when my plates call me out of the blue because either Im busy or with another plate. So from that perspective I would like to extend similar courtesy to others though Im not sure if there are any specific thoughts on this. Your opinions would be much appreciated.

I'm assuming she works 8-5 like most folks, so just give her a call in the evening. Make some small talk, then arrange the date.

The answer is always that you do what you want to do without regard for how it will "look".

The reason is because you simply shouldnt care what the outcome of it is with her because you have so many other options that if she doesn't want to play ball then there are plenty of others who do. If you are not at this stage yet then the goal should be to get to this stage.
