She dumped him. How many dumpees do you know that want to be friends? Girls always want to be friends after they dump a guy so they don't feel bad for hurting his feelings. Women are all about taking care of number one, they just describe it as caring for your feelings but in the end, they are really taking care of their own subconscious.

my sister wants to be friends with a lot of dudes too who want nothing to do with her after their done i think it is a sex thing personally if you think that women are taking care of number 1 then you're probably right because i'm willing to bet that no girl has stayed up at night fantazing about me while i'm fantasing about them

On the contrary, I bet this guy dumped her. When you dump a girl and she comes back later saying let's be friends, in ******** language that means "Let's play around a little more." This happend to me with my ex-gf not too long ago. Basically ended up going back and banging her which was a huge mistake cause she got attatched once again.

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.
