Question about throwing a party

Hi guys,

so I'm thinking about throwing a party. A friend of mine says she can get me 4 handles of vodka and about 60 beers (two racks). That sounds like a sh1tload to me, but I don't have too much experience with drinking. How many people can that quantity of alcohol get drunk?

your askin for trouble with 4 handles, do 2 handles and 4 cases. If your a bunch of inexperienced drinkers 8 beers or 8 shots a person is gonna make for a fun night. teen drinking is very bad

Iv never been to a house party where drink has been free, your just asking for trouble if your buying alcohol for everyone.

Your house will get trashed.

Unless your 100% sure and have the manpower to deal with idiots, i say dont do it. I've seen and heard of some bad bad things in my time that put me off having big parties at my place.

the idea is that my friend gets all the alcohol. then people pay per beer, per shot. She gets her money back. My only question is how many people to invite with that amount of alcohol. probably 15 ppl is the max. i'll save whatever alch is left over.

That amount of alcohol could probably serve at least 50 people. I don't know if you're gonna be able to find people that will be willing to pay per shot or beer though. I'd say you just tell em 5 or 10 bucks a person and all you can drink. Especially if you're only inviting around 15 people, 4 handles and 60 beers will be more than enough for everyone.
