Question about Protein Shakes

I used to try protein shakes while I have been lifting weights but it never really seemed to work for me..I don't want to try creatine or any type of steriod...Can someone recommend a good protein shake that works well and also can you tell me when I should drink it?? like before or after my workout and on non work out days...Plz thanks
 

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

Well I thought, it's supposed to help you gain more bulk, and help build muscles....I actually want to gain more weight so I'm not that skinny....I am kind of defined though through lifting weights...But I just want to get a little bigger thats all...

I don't want to be huge...Just enough to get a little bigger thats all...I just want to know what good protein shakes there are that work.

Creatine isn't steroids! :) It's good for what you want to do.
