"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Hey guys, I have been to this site in the past, and I knew I could come here with a story/question.

I am an 18 year old freshman in college. I am a theatre major, so when we are doing shows, the department gets fairly close since we spend almost everyday with each other.

Recently, a girl whom I have no feelings for told me that she has a crush on me. She says that I am one of the cutest guys in the department, and that she would like to date me. The thing is, I can never see myself with this girl.

Another dilemma I run into is that I have a crush on her roommate. I could never make any moves because she had always had a boyfriend. Now she has broken up with her boyfriend, but her roommate has a crush on me.

The last piece, is that she is 21 and I am only 18. I am not sure how she feels about dating a younger guy, and I am wondering what I should do in my situation.

Any helpful tips, or advice would be greatly appreciated.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

For starters, talking to the this girl you have a crush on would be a good start.

I don't know what other advice you are looking for.

I don't want to pursue this one girl, and have the other get mad. That would be bad since they are roommates.

But I pretty sure I am coming down with a case of oneitis.

You can skip the expensive cars, the fancy clothes, and the endless gym selfies. Completely unnecessary.

This sounds like it's coming out of a little girl's mouth. You're not a woman, man up. If you care about what everyone thinks then you're going to live one miserable life.

I figure if I piss the one off, the one I like will see her mad, and in turn think I am a jerk.

OK READY - THIS IS GOING TO BE PURE EVIL: act like a girl that has a guy who has just confessed a crush whom she doesn't like - OMG, the horns!!! THEYRE COMING OUT OF MY HEAD...hahahahaahhaahaaa

Recently, a girl whom I have no feelings for told me that she has a crush on me. She says that I am one of the cutest guys in the department, and that she would like to date me. The thing is, I can never see myself with this girl.

Be like...wow, I've been thinking about it...and I'd like to know a little more about you before I decide if we can have a future together...you SEEM cool, but I'd really need to get to know you better to understand what kind of person you are.

Then have her cook you dinner, clean your dorm room, buy you clothes, suck your dihk, wait for you at home while you phuk other girls - er I mean studying - then suck your dihk again, meet all her girlfriends, have her tell these great stories about you massively social proofing you, e.g. OMG, he's so hot, I love him so much, he's the greatest...NOT LIKE ANY GUY I'VE EVER MET....etc....it will be great - you'll love it;

Another dilemma I run into is that I have a crush on her roommate. I could never make any moves because she had always had a boyfriend. Now she has broken up with her boyfriend, but her roommate has a crush on me.

DO NOT Phuk-Up and hit on her roomie...that opportunity will present itself by virtue of your "dating" - and I do mean "dating" - not exclusive, because she has to prove that she is worth it by buying you things, cooking you dinner, doing a threesome with her roomie, etc... GET IT!!!! OH MAN, I AM ENVIOUS....

The last piece, is that she is 21 and I am only 18. I am not sure how she feels about dating a younger guy, and I am wondering what I should do in my situation.

CLEARLY SHES OK WITH IT - I say work this chick - it will be a great experience...I see threesomes, dinners, gifts, and MANY cool things in your future my boy...

Any helpful tips, or advice would be greatly appreciated.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
