Putting a Flashing Police Siren in My Car...

Well, yeah, anyone know where I can buy one? I know it's illegal, of course, but it would be freaking cool. I've searched on eBay and Google but can't find anything other than toy cars and "party flashing lights"

I'm looking for the real thing. Can someone hook me up?

I had a crown vic and an obsession with antennas. My car looked like a police cruiser. Now every cop knows me by my frist name, and not in a good way. This catches up with you when you get a new car and bad driver license. Somebody's gonna shoot me once I start riding a bycicle.

^^^ I actually don't want to pull anyone over. Cutting through traffic will be nice, and also just freaking the hell out of people because they think you're a cop. Like pulling up to a stoplight revving your engine like you want to race, and then when the other guy does the same you just pull it on him. LOL, that would be freaking hilarious, especially if he starts racing you and you turn it on. Haha.

Have you any idea how many under cover units there are out there? You doing it once will result in them knowing what's going on.... I think you're a fool, because I gave you link so you could get a link to a store where they sell them, but you're not smart enough to understand it. You not even smart enough to understand attention wh0ring on here or on the road results in some consequences.

In the days of "younger" youth I was on the law enforcement career path. Even though I took another direction, I've kept an in-road with law enforcement officers in my current profession.

The thing is about this idea is that in many states it's not illegal to have light bars in or on your car (think about mall security vehicles). The thing which is illegal is impersonating an officer, not a good thing to be caught doing.

I will say though, driving around in an old Crown Vic bought at auction that still has a flood mounted on the side can be a lot of fun on the highway. For some strange reason people are afraid to pass you.

Haha! This thread is hilarious! I remember when I was a freshman in high school and this kid had one of those megaphones that has a really loud police siren on it. I was walking home from school and he pulled up to this kids house that lived by me with the siren blaring. Then he goes "dude that lives next to me", come out of your house with your hands in the air. This is the police! Look on the kids face as he came out of his house was priceless.

No, but if you see my signature, I am just stuck in a rut. My posts are quite authentic, as crazy as they may sound - I actually am this kind of a person. It's not really about starting threads or you guys here, it's just the best place to ask these questions. Yea, every police cruiser, or as they call them crown vics, or p71s, have a loud speaker inside of them. To that you connect a PA system, public address. Many CBs have a PA output, also there are specialized police radios with PAs. It's really loud.


All this siren and PA sh1t is attention getting and red neck, and hick. I guess you need to go through this sh1t to understand how stupid it is.



By the way and out of topic. P71 is a great car. Just as fast as your BWM and handles great too. It is also a full body on frame car (unlike a unabody). That means you can take a lot more abuse and survive greater crashes. I crashed mine rear into wall at 120 MPH. I was going 120 MPH on wet with bald tires like a moron and it span around 180 degrees, I went into the side of I95 near Palm Beach, I don't know at what speed, but after hit I had a lot of oil smoke and got knocked out. I lived, and after cutting exhaust pipe off I drove home. My 01 GT is exciding car, but during a similar crash I'd die. I miss my P71, they are great cars.
