"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Im going to a party tonight. Its an "In memeory of" party by a friend in the village. The family is rich and they are having a 300 person guest list mainly consisting of guests from stables and horse backgrounds (Mainly girls).

Its going to be a heaven of young potential as the boy that died was only 16.

Am i wrong going there and looking into the potential and sarging.

Think im looking for a conscience clearer.....

Also would you stick to the regular techniques. (Is C+F really going to work at a funeral party????)

What angle would you say would work at this kind of "occassion" as im a little stuck for ideas.

All opinions welcome

Sarge On!

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

I'd say you can do that at the afterparty, just don't make any C+F comments about the funeral or related subjects. Just go for email and phone numbers, closing is for later.

I agree with Holland.

Don't go down the very energetic, c+f route it will not go with the occasion and can be seen as inconsiderate.

Just try to talk to the one you are interested in and connect with her. She might be a little emotional, so this will give you the perfect opportunity to comfort her and get her to trust you.

Even suggest going outside for some fresh air and during conversation, try to keep things as positive as you can as the whole day will already have a negative feel to it.

Yeah the fresh air bit will make a good isolator. Also I can suggest a walk or something. My house is only 300 yards down the road. I will try and keep it postive but not overly happy ofc.

The other thing i was thinking is what would make a good opener?

I think i will be confident sarging at a place like this as their will be alot of people i know but at the same time I wont know most of the 300 people.

I will go for a couple of intros for opens. But as for cold approach I cant seem to think of anything.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
