"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Probably not too many people ask this, but how do I get a girl to STOP liking me?

I've had a few cases (5, I think) in the past 2 or so years of my life (3 of which are still going on) where I don't like a girl and she really likes me back and I don't know how to just get her to leave me alone.

I think I am more of a 'DJ' with the girls that I don't like. Because, with two of them I flirted a lot and acted like I liked them (I think I did at first) and when they started liking me back I realized I didn't want it and I started ignoring them or seeming distant. The other three the same thign but I actually made out with them and then decided I don't like them....

None of them I've been in a relationship with.

Anyway, the most urgent one is with this girl at my school. We liked eachother in 10th grade (I'm in 12th now) and were flirting and whatnot but she's really naive and I kind of pulled away when I learned that her idea of a date was going to church together (I know, I'm terrible). Ever since then she has been trying to talk to me. She has my phone number (both cell and home) and my IM screenname and I never gave her either.

And, her friends have been bugging me for a while to take her to prom!!! She's always IMing me and talking so much when I obviously don't want to talk and she keeps trying to talk to me on the way to school (we usually run into eachother). I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings. I already told her w hile ago that I didn't like our conversations (she's white and I'm black and she said something that offended me) but that just made her call me and apologize and try harder.

Another girl lives all the way out in LA (I'm in DC) and we met at Dartmouth and we made out (this is NOT the same girl at Stanford, the one I actually liked). We danced a lot at the party the night ebfore we left and I got in the mood and we made out. Big mistake. She immediately thought we were like together or something, even saying stuff like she's so lucky to have found me and that she wants me to come to her prom. I decided to go to Stanford. I think it hurt her when I told her my decision and she even tried to convinve me to go to Dartmouth.

But she still IMs me and talks like we are together and I told her way back when we were at Dartmouth that if I go to another school, I'm not interested in a long-term relationship.

At Stanford I made out with this girl, pretty much the same situation as the Dartmouth girl. Next day I started seperating myself from her because I lost interest fast and she just chased me harder. Some of you may recall me thread about it....

So, how do I get these girls off my back without hurting anyone's feelings? Also, I don't want to make anything up like I'm gay or that I have a girlfriend or say something to scare her off like "I only date girls who f*** on the first date" because that stuff can spread to other girls and give me a bad rap.

So, yeah, on a site about how to get girls, I want to know how to get rid of them. Thanks.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

real quick... you shouldn't be worried about how to get a girl to stop liking you. I like attention, no matter what girl its from. I especially like it when they talk to the other girls about me. Just cause she likes you, doesn't mean you have to call or talk to her. Let her like you. Put it in the back of your head... and move on. be a **** and ignor her.

Later on, if she turns out to be this "beautiful swan", hit her up then...

hmm, i dont think acting like an AFC will solve anything. There are no "techniques" for certain situations. Girls are individuals. Just ignore the crush, and let it run it's course. It'll go away eventually, just make sure it's clear that nothing will ever happen.

Can't control the women or their emotions, hell, they cant even control they're own emotions, how are we supposed to?
