"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

Reality is reality and perception is a variable experience of reality. The important thing is to be resilent and spring back from experiencing a harsh reality. I agree it's good to go into situations with positivity as that tends to bring you more real postivity from others. But it doesn't mean to go into things with blinders on or without real objectives. For example a stalkers reality is he can win over a celebrity no matter how much feedback is telling him he's not wanted. A person has to have a realistic pereception of reality and realize when something is a bad situation and it's time to abort. A person needs to weigh the possible good and bad and make an analysis in how they proceed.
