Don Juan
your 5th approach was good .this thread is good cant wait to hear some more.
That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?
She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."
She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.
I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.
Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.
She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.
Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.
Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.
Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."
You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.
She's been waiting forty minutes.
Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.
Ok . . .Lexie said:This is a great thread! Honestly, I find it attractive that you're even willing to try some of these, so I'm not surprised they're working for you. Confidence is sexy.

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
Going to take a final now, if I get some downtime, I'll try this one out. Until then..Microfiltered said:Try this:
You: Hey can I ask you a quick question?
Her: probably surprised and say sure
You: If I were to ask your current boyfriend what kind of lover you are, what would he say?
-Anyways, keep it up man. I like reading this thread (I get kind of bored at work).

have fun sitting on your ass living a mediocre life probably not getting laid a quarter of the times Incog will be soon enough. :flowers:
Why not this semester? Unless you mean this semester is your last. Make sure to keep us posted on what goes on!CORVETTE06 said:you are THE MAN.
i am printing out all of your experiments and I am going to try them all my last semester in college.
Sounds interesting. Unfortunately, I am done with finals and classes for about a month. I won't let you guys down though.. I'll try as many ideas as possible, it just won't be in a university setting for a while. So, the only limit will be that I can't try classroom-specific ideas/approaches.SlowlyButShirley said:Kind of a take on the tic tac toe idea. In a really boring/quiet lecture... or maybe sit near the front so you can't actively talk...
For the first part of class take notes... then once things get boring write on a piece of paper "DID YOU KNOW..." with an arrow indicating there is writing on the back... with no eye contact pass it to the girl... when she turns it over she finds the most stupid/random fact... "Elephants are the only animals that can't jump!" maybe with a picture of an elephant trying to jump... i dunno... be creative... maybe tell her "facts" about you boring professor "Professor Bill has 23 cats... all of them named Clarence"... whatever... Every once in a while enlighten her with a fact...
To answer your question, I am not currently nailing any of the "experiment" chicks mentioned in this thread, but I'm spinning 3 of them and it's imminent. Keep in mind magnet that this isn't my entire approach life. I'm nailing 3 chicks consistently on the side. I do however hope to add to that with the results of this thread - and it's looking good.magnet7 said:the "approaches" might be working but has he laid any of the chicks he's approached?
Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.
You've been "getting ready" for two years.
She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.
Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
When you call her, ask for "finish studying loser", lol.Incog said:I didn't call her tonight, so I still don't know her name. She's saved in my phone as "Library HB 9".. Haha. I've been pretty busy, but I'll probably ring her up tomorrow. Keep closing, troops!
Wit will get you places. Being able to play situations by ear with confidence and still be witty is not only impressive, but chicks eat it up. That's a good breakdown of your options, I didn't really think of it like that, but yeah, any result can provide you an opportunity to close. However, I usually don't lose to girls in tic-tac-toe :rock:DismantleRepair said:I loved the tic-tac-toe one! It's also quite flexible depending on the result - if she loses, you can say she has to give you her number. If she wins, you can say that her prize is that she gets to have lunch with you. If it's a draw, you could say something like "Obviously, we must be made for each other... write your number: ________"
LOL! I didn't think of that.. Too late though. Going to her house Monday.iqqi said:When you call her, ask for "finish studying loser", lol.
I don't know if anyone cares, but to update, I went out with this chick twice. Monday I went to her house and we watched a movie, ended up making out until I encountered some last minute resistance. Not a problem though.. last night she came over to "hang out," and as soon as she walked in I shut the door, told her to shutup, and we started making out. We ended up on the couch and I started undressing her. No resistanceIncog said:She wasn't a very good tic-tac-toe player. I finished her off (Hopefully it won't be the last time I do that) and under the game board, I drew "You lose.. You owe me your number: _________"
She looked at me and we exchanged grinning smiles, and I was given the paper back with her number on it. "Name?" I wrote next and passed it. I got it back and it said "Finish studying loser." At that point, I smiled at her, clutched the paper, got up and left.
Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.
Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?
You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.
Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
