When you've just met someone, avoid using exaggerated hand gestures while talking to them, it makes everyone around nervous and they stare at you.

Regardless of how fun the conversation might be, be smooth and control your excitement and motions... move accordingly...

There's a fine line between looking like your having fun and looking like a freak.
