With governments now giving food, shelter, utilities, medical, clothing, transportation, rent, and now free internet and cell phones; what else is there to give? There really is no reason for people to work when everything is given to them at zero cost or responsibility.

We´re are slowly and silently seeing our rights and freedom taken away by power hungry politicians it is very troublesome. Most people just accept the changes and do not complain. Just as long as they can be left alone.



But what we all really should do it stand up and fight for the freedom our forefathers have died and fought for so we could inherit it to for our selves and coming generations.

I believe I mentioned this during one of those heated covid-19 posts, but yes, there is a natural balance between ANY species and its environment. As of right now, whether you agree or not it's irrelevant, the Earth is overpopulated with humans. We have "been given freedoms" which we can seem to handle. Our peer-to-peer interaction has become one of avoidance of reality. One which most men rather escape from by retreating into video games and vices. One of profound division and hostility. A reality-based on perception and not collective consciousness. Men, and humanity in general, seem to have lost sense of true self and present.

There are so many layers to this subject, pandemics, governments, intergender dynamics, mental health, etc, etc to break down which is why I found this article so fascinating and powerful. It definitely draws a clear path humanity is walking on.

We are already seeing birth rates decline worldwide. The world population is now predicted to peak about 2060 and start to decline from there. The bigger problem at that point will be not enough young people to care for all of the old people.

I think the article and the man's research is very interesting. I also think we have built in mechanisms as a species to make us not want to multiply when we see the world as getting worse. Young people don't want to have kids like they used to. Maybe the population will peak in 2060, all the old people die off by 2100, then life looks good again and we make more babies. It's a cycle.

Overpopulation is a myth. The global birth rate is barely above replacement. It’s far below replacement among developed countries.

The problem is the modern society has evolved to create a system that rewards the financial system at the expense of producing tangible goods. Wealthier countries simply don’t build anything.

The problem with real socialism is that it never rewards anyone for anything other than ideological zeal. And those who are most ideological are usually evil.

When I was in germany as an exchange student, I asked my host professor (a west german) about what it was like after the berlin wall fell. He proceeded to get drunk over the course of the conversation and told me (kinda raged) about how all the east germans were a lazy people who had zero work ethic because the only thing they were ever expected to do was show up to work. The soviet union was also like this, the top priority in factories was meeting their government demanded quotas. It didn't even matter if their output was completely useless, because if you didn't meet your quotas, you went to the gulag under charges of sabotage.

I personally don't understand how someone can be so lazy as to not pull their weight enough to afford their own lifestyle.

Sadly, having a family and raising kids is very expensive nowadays. As soon as Nixon took us off of the gold standard, the cost of just living has skyrocketed. Yes, a dude by himself could live like a king on 40k in most places. However, when you have a family, that price is significantly more; not to mention the stress that brings upon people; namely dudes. Add to the fact of possibly losing everything due to a divorce; the calculated risk is not always an easy one to answer. The more the government provides, the more expensive it is to live. The middle class is in shambles, yet they still vote in these far left people. Females can now out earn dudes, so they feel they can go it alone. While, many can, is it ideal? The average dude has zero backbone. I was watching Selling Sunset (a real estate "reality show" on Netflix) and one female was planning a wedding with her fiancee. Geez, this guy never said no. Bill 100k+.

This is the chicken and the egg paradox. The government help is a band-aid response to the underlying problem, not the cause of it.

In human society other humans have to produce the goods, if nobody works there won't be anything to give. So for that reason human society would break down A LOT quicker, we don't have a superior creature who can provide us with everything.

The Sumerian tablets say otherwise; Zecharia Sitchin has written extensively about the "Annunaki" teaching us farming and civics. But it's not just them, any human extraterrestrial race could potentially fill that role.

Disclosure will be happening not just in our lifetimes but within the next 10 years. Obviously we would still have to work but there would be much less work needed to sustain us. Not so fast Serenity.. Many things are automated or made machines. Elon Musk is working on human like robots which can replace most people. Hence the reason why him, Zuckerberg, Gates and a host of other billionaires and PTB are pushing for UBI. Once that's here, what is the incentive to work? That would also give government near complete control over a person.
