It looks like the political threads aren't getting closed very quickly.

Why are non-political threads being locked?

Like The Zeitgeist.
That was about unplugging from the matrix and thinking for yourself.

I used to think sosuave was about that.

It started off that way and thats why the thread was open as long as it was and allowed to thrive. It began to take a different direction though moving more politically towards the end.

How about this, instead of locking a thread that is interesting, just delete the offensive posts? The rest of us shouldn't have to pay the price of a good discussion at the expense of a few wankers.

PS - I commend you on your modding here mpimping, you seem fair-minded within the limits of your constraints. (Even if u did ban me twice ;) )
 

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Ninja I wish I had the power to ban but I don't and had NOTHING to do with your ban. And for the most part I actually try to delete posts that are offensive especially concerning flame wars. But in the situation we are talking about i only saw the number growing over time and I would have had far more posts to delete in that topic then I normally allow before closing a thread.
