"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

So this morning out of the blue on POF this HB 8 messages me "hey there... love your look... hit me up some time with an email ********* at ya hoo . com maybe we could trade some more pic, chat and grab a coffee (my treat)"

I replied with "Hey thanks, you don't look too bad yourself! My e-mail is ********. I'm not much of a coffee drinker, but I'm sure we can figure something out..."

Any tips or advice as to how to go about this, I mean I feel like I should just apply texting game rules here. My text game is solid and I have my moments face to face but I am inexperienced as far as actually pulling girls from POF. Also she is from the next town over from mine and I've already mentioned grabbing some drinks but I haven't set anything concrete yet. She probably goes to the same bars that I do.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

You got spammed bro. A female that is into you wants to exchange phone numbers not email addresses.

It's a scam. Anyone who immediately asks for your email address to "trade pics" is a scammer. The "buy you coffee" angle is a new one.

No 8 online is going to give her contact info immediately and offer to take you out. Wishful thinking.

either that or when you do get a message from her about meeting up, she will tell you she is suddenly in a foreign country and stuck with no money so you can pay to bring her back.

I did yahoo dating for awhile and all of them were like that eventually.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

I had one where the person texted me and it was obvious the person was not a woman. She/he misspelled every word and.kept calling me babe.

Dream on bro.

It's porn site spam, spam, or intentional teasing. The only way you'll get an 8 to message you online is to be in the top 10% of men. Delete this sh*t.

Case closed. Exit stage left.
