Just curious what you guys talk about when you start chatting with a girl on sites like POF.

What I normally do is try to keep things interesting talking about common interests, but sometimes I get these girls that give me these one liner replies that really do not give me much to work with. Not to mention that ones that list an interest and know nothing about their supposed "interest".

Interested in your strategies to keep the chat engaging.

It's good to be well rounded in many subjects. Look to ways you can get educated on culture. Or just go for a visit to NY when it is unfrozen.

It can be rough. I mean you really have nothing to go on, no body language, you don't know them. Pof hasn't been very good for me. I think online dating is kind of nonsense.

This is a great lead, in both online and IRL conversations. Depending on the topic, I usually ask something along the lines of "X seems interesting to me, [specific but open-ended question about X]?" Throw in some humor for good measure.

Example: So you graduated with a psychology degree, what made you want to pursue that? Usually I try to avoid psych grads since they're seemingly the ones that need therapy the most

I'd avoid trying to outsmart someone on their own turf, usually they can detect a fraud a mile away. Better to be curious/humble and ask questions

Besides, you shouldn't be messaging back and forth more than a handful of times before the number close, save the chatting for the date

Yeah just B.S. 3-4 messages and request the number. Most girls, once you've exchanged a few messages, are fine with giving the number to you. And trent makes a good point...save the chatting for the date. I've missed out with a few girls because I spent too much time on the phone with them and they lost interest. Lesson learned. Have a quick convo (like 15 min max) then make an excuse as to why you have to run and set up the date.

I just want to go get drunk, and she has a car, and probably a job. If I can go get real drunk for free, and a blow job fvck it.

Yeah. It can be helpful, but it depends on how much work your willing to put in, and what are you going to get out of it, and what are you willing to settle for.

a suggestion I have given ppl before is:

Females usualy post their "horoscope sign"

lets say its a "Cancer" and you are a "Taurus"

Msg her something such as,

I saw your profile and I thought i had thought i found the rarest of breeds; a gem on POF. I got very excited till I noticed your sign is "Cancer" you people just can't handle the almighty "Taurus"

just some BS like that, online dating is a crap shoot imo...it gives women so much control (just my opinion)....Be a man, COLD APPROACH!
