Sorry, this means a lot to me so it's lengthy...

Its been nealy a year since I've needed this place. The same time last year my girlfriend of 7 months dumped me and I went through hell.. found the girl of my dreams in Feb... and now just two days ago, she dumped me over the phone.

I madly fell in love with her, she was basically another reason to live. I love her entire family and all that. We got along perfectly, I really imagined us being married for the rest of our lives. I know it sounds silly, and a lot of people don't know what love is... but I can say that I do.

She's turning 18, and I'm 21. Quite an age difference but her family is perfectly fine with it. We haven't had sex. Though she's only 17 righ now, she's more mature than that. She works 2 jobs, senior in high school, cheerleading, church.

This is brining me to my next point. This is why she dumped me, she told me that she is way too stressed out right now from everything and can't handle a relationship. I don't know what to think of that. We only see eachother once a week since school started. She also told me that in the beginning of our relationship she had that feeling for me, like a burning sensation in her stomach... and now, it's not there so much. So, I put the pieces together and realized she doesn't feel the same because she is overloaded with stress.. therefore she is a blank slate and can't devote hardly any time to a relationship. This is due to stress overload. The feeling comes back.. every couple, even married couples lose the feeling due to overload. Though it always comes back with time. Am i right?

She also stated that sometimes she questions why she's in a relationship. And I was thinking.. doesn't everyone who's in a relationship question that? Even the most perfect couples question that. She said she shouldn't have to question it. I also want to point out that she tells me that I'm a perfect boyfriend... and the best one that she's ever had. Her entire family feels the same way about me. Her mother told her it's very rare to come across a great guy like me.

She tells me that it's nothing I did wrong, at all. She says it's her. I told her I'm fine with giving her space and time to think about it, and let everything settle down and blow over... and asked her to promise me once everything does, she'll continue our relationship. She told me she can't promise that. She also has a hard time communicating her feelings and emotions. She hasn't told me nor any other guy that she loved him. Not even me. I asked her why and she said I don't know.

I haven't eaten since then, I feel like I want to die.. she's all I'm thinking about. I'm skipped my classes all this week... I don't know what to do..

Someone please analyze this and tell me what to do to get her back. I need to know what to say... I love her too much for this to end like this. Thank you

Sounds like things don't feel "complete or right" to her and she wants to break things off. I know how ya feel though-I myself was pissed/depressed just last night and didnt wanna go to work. It def sucks to have someone on your mind all the time especially when that someone doesnt feel the same or if you're not sure exactly how they feel. But really all you can do is go on with you life and try to find things to take your mind off her. Goodluck

Your problem is that you do not know how to be happy without a woman. You go from one relationship to the next hoping that they will get rid of your emptiness but this will always fail.

Women should not be your reason for living.

You should have a lot going on in your life to the point where chicks are just icing on the cake...for you they are everything and this mentality is destructive!

a lot of people don't know what love is... but I can say that I do....We haven't had sex.
You may know what it is like to love someone platonically with some romance mixed in, but trust me, you havent really experienced love until you have shared your bodies and souls together. If you think you fell hard for this chick, I feel sorry for you when a girl you are actually fukking breaks your heart!

We only see eachother once a week since school started.
This is not a real relationship.

It can happen, but only when there is a really strong bond between them and a reason to proceed. Lets look at your stats

- You are not banging her
- You only see her once a week
- You place all you life's merit on her

Umm..Im sorry but you will just have to move on and learn from this one.

Even the most perfect couples question that. She said she shouldn't have to question it. I also want to point out that she tells me that I'm a perfect boyfriend... and the best one that she's ever had. Her entire family feels the same way about me. Her mother told her it's very rare to come across a great guy like me.
None of this matters if she's not feeling you. If you really want to understand why she lost interest its very simple.... she mattered too much to you far too soon. She could sense your desperation and inability to be alone and this is not attractive.

She hasn't told me nor any other guy that she loved him. Not even me. I asked her why and she said I don't know.
She is only 18... you are asking a lot from someone who doesn't know what she wants yet.

I haven't eaten since then, I feel like I want to die.. she's all I'm thinking about. I'm skipped my classes all this week... I don't know what to do..
This is your problem right here. The root of it all. You have nothing else taking your attention. You sacrifice your soul for a woman that you are not even serious with. You need to stop wondering how to get her back and start trying to figure out why you are so needy and desperate.

Someone please analyze this and tell me what to do to get her back. I need to know what to say... I love her too much for this to end like this. Thank you
You really want her back?

Start living your life and be happy without her first. If its really meant to be, she will come around. But you gotta pull yourself together man. It seems like a disaster right now, but trust me, you will look back years from now and wonder why you were so lost over this chick.

A universe...where heartbreak and sadness have bee
You don't need her back. You need to start growing up...and this "heartbreak" is exactly what you need to realize that true happiness comes from within. If you base your happiness on things happening in the world around you, or in other people, eventually you WILL end up like this again.

Who do YOU want to be? Some starving, psychotic nervous wreck who's a victim to the whims of some high-school girl? Or are you better than that? Ask yourself.

whatdude, I have been there, done that. I would say that it was when I was much younger and foolish, except it was this summer! Women are always going to flake on you. It's inevitable, especially teenage girls. That is not an age of beginning lifelong commitment.

Of course you feel awful. You imagined yourself together forever, and now that fantasy is falling apart. I was shopping for rings for my gf, was going to take her to Paris to propose, then she got an internship far away, and our LTR fell apart. Sh1t happens. Us 'perfect boyfriends' get dumped all the time.

What you will eventually grow out of, and I hope you do it faster than I did, is the idea of "the one," that there is one special girl for you and that's all. Here is a quote from the Book of Pook that I suggest you memorize and repeat to yourself when you feel down:

there comes a young man who has lost the girl of his dreams, who doesn't realize that it was the dream that made her divine, not her making the dream

There are lots of girls of your dreams, and even the girl you like most can be easily replaced. Right now, I know it does not seem this way, but it's true.

You can't logically persuade her to be with you. As soon as she says she wants space, that is chickspeak for "it's over" and you need to date different girls. It does not matter what other nice things she says about you; words mean nothing. You don't bring out the same emotions in her any more, and that is all that matters. It happens to all of us; don't beat yourself up about it. Just break up with her and date other girls. This is how to get over it. I'm doing that right now to get over my ex, and I can tell you it works.
