"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Dear DJ Forum Members,

in advance I ask you to forgive me for my bad english.

I write from Italy.

I need an advice in dealing with this issue.

I knew some months ago a nice girl in my workplace. We shared the same room for 1 month. Then she has been transferred in another office of my company.

I established a very good rapport with her in that month. I think that I had been able to do so because I thought that I had nothing to lose with her: she has a boyfriend and she lives with him...(GULP!!!!).

After she left my office we're stayin always in touch. She writes me many many e-mails and, since we have more interest in common, we went out togheter (alone) in the city sometimes to attend exhibitions, theater performances, have a drink etc...

I like very much to spend time with her and she seems to me also enjoying the time that she spends with me.

Sometimes she tells me about his boyfriend, that sometimes is jealous that she goes out only with me etc...

I arranged a meeting with her for friday afternoon (italian time).

As you certainly understood I would like more from her, I would like to be her boyfriend!!! because I like her very much.

So do you think that I could have any chances???

May you suggest to me how to behave in next meetings (starting from Friday)?

Am I completely mad in saying so?

If you need more informations yto answer please ask.

Thank A Lot!

Best Regards,

Single

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

You could just be a friend to her because she has a boyfriend.

She could have some interest in you. Since she will go on little dates with you alone.

But, In all honesty. She most likely wont leave her boyfriend for you. I would go out and meet new girls.

Anybody out there have other suggestion?

Thanks
