You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Experience has taught me over the years that most ADULT men only find themselves in platonic relationships as a result of the woman's decision---not theirs.
Are we mistaking a Platonic Relationship for being Forced into the Friend Zone?

I find this topic interesting. I've never been able to reach a conclusion. The women I'm usually friends with are:
A. Unattractive
B. Off the market - taken
C. Cirucumstance boundary - She's my sisters best friend. Etc.
I've yet to be strictly platonic friends with any chick whose passes the boner test. If shes decent looking we usually end up smashing somewhere along the line.
I think it's impossible.

Pfft, yeah. What kind of a question is this? It's perfectly 'possible', it just often times doesn't happen in the long term.
The only way for this to work is if the guy has 0 attraction to her and still wants to have her in his life as a friend.
If it's the other way around then the woman will wind up using that to her advantage.
