Anyways, I don't see what my ego has to do with anything.

It has to do with everything.

The real exchange of this thread was, I asked something, people (like Desdi) chimed in without bullshìt, I applied it to a real life situation, and it worked. It may not have worked this smoothly and it wouldn't have mattered, but it did.
