"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Which kind of personality is better with girls and people in general?

The "take yourself seriously" or the "dont take yourself seriously" personality? Here's my view on things from what I've seen;

Serious
The people who take themselves seriously are calm and relaxed. They usually have less to say, and are never spontaneous or unpredictable. They still joke around and have a sense of humor, but a much more subdued/quiet humor. They still laugh at jokes and can have a good time, but they never try do stupid sh1t to get others to laugh at them. They have a big ego/pride and take offense when someone laughes at/makes fun of them, sometimes starting fights.

They still have friends and they are respected highly. Everyone wants to listen to what they're saying because they are serious about it.

Crazy/Goofy/Funny
On the other side, the people who dont take themselves seriously are usually loud, always having something to say. They are spontaneous and will say and do stupid stuff without thinking to get others to laugh at/with them. They usually have no ego/pride and dont care when they are being made fun of.

They still have friends, but for the most part it seems as though they are respected less and get picked on more often than others. Sometimes people dont listen to what they have to say because they are just goofing off half the time.

Which personality is better with girls and people in general?

Obviously the serious personality is more of a "jerk" or bad boy" personality and the crazy/goofy personality is more of a "nice guy" or "funny" personality.

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

This is a useless post. STOP TRYING TO BE SOMEONE YOU'RE NOT. STOP PRETENDING YOU SHOULD EMULATE A CELEBRITY TO FIT THE MOLD YOU WANT. :cuss: :cuss: :cuss:

Yeah, it's not a specific personality... it's being in the right state at the right time. If it's time to be serious, playing is immature. If you're trying to put someone else at ease, being serious isn't the way to do it. If some guy tries to fight you, it's about talking your way out of it. If some lunatic runs up trying to stab you in a dark alley, it's about defending yourself. In essence, it's about being real.

You do know that there are more than two distinct types of personality...right?

Yeah there are several personality types...but out of the two you have, I'm a bit of both. I love joking around and I do all kinds of unpredictable things. But, I'm a very serious person at times.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Ok, nmaybe I should have named this thread "taking yourself seriously or not?", that would have gotten the point across better.

I know there are thousands of different personalitys out there, I was just asking to get some opinions on taking yourself seriously or not and how it fits in with girls and people in general

Now anyone got some opinions/advice?

Watch the name calling, man. And exactly how did "we" reply negatively?

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
