are you sure those stats are right? i hardly believe it, since it can't be possible that half of the newborn are from unwed mothers... i don't know well american reality, but here in italy, probably 1 newborn out of 100 hasn't got married parents...

That list is ranked from richest demographic to poorest. Also, a list of cities with the worst crime came out last week. Camden, Detroit, St Louis, Baltimore, and Gary, IN, which is the poor side of Chicago, topped the list. Those cities are at the bottom of the list above. Poverty, crime, and out-of-wedlock births all correlate.

yes, but i don't think palermo (the mobsters' city), naples and cagliari are any better than baltimore, st louis and gary... maybe they are not as hard to live in as some places in compton, camden and detroit, but i can't believe those stats actually apply...

It could be. But this is not very obvious from the list. What is more obvious if the following trend: South and West cities were ranked better. Does it mean somehting?
I guess so.
It means many women in nothern and probably eastern cities have more job opportunities, so they do not care about men and families. They got "ambitions" and feminism.
It appears that jobs and opposrtunities to amke good money are transforming american women into men.

You have to believe. Here is a reason why. Italy has the lowest (or one of the lowest) divorced rate in Europe. US has one of the highest divorce rate in the world. It is just s fact that indirectly supports it.
Also it is not very uncommon for women in US to be single, full of feminism bs and have like 3-4 kids. I sort of doubt you can find something similar in Italy.

In the old days, if you got a chick pregnant, you'd be saying "I will marry her and unite the House of Hanover with the House of Mecklenburg in a grand dynastical alliance".

Today it'd be more like "F*ck that b!tch, I hate kids!".


So if you get a chick pregnant, and you hate single moms, then marry her. I know I won't be.
