Penkitten's son... has a date

I am still disturbed by the fact that a man my age can have a grown ass son. I couldn't imagine having a kid who is almost a high school senior. That is just crazy. I never realized how old I was until I read this thread.

believe me, i feel old !
he may be about to turn 16, but he's just a freshman because he was held back a year in elementary.
when i was his age, i was expecting him!
it has been my goal , all these years, to bust my butt and make sure that he ends up on a better life path than what i was on at his age.
so far, so good... but high school has just begun for him.

i mean, i couldn't imagine him being in those same shoes that i was in.
his father and i were some crazy teenagers.
