"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

I know this post is a repeat, but do you guys pay on the first date? Im going to eat and to the movies with this hot chick, but im unsure if i should pay. She is pretty cool, but Im not sure what to do...What do you guys think??

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Well, if I invite them out, I'll usually pay. It depends sometimes though. Especially if I barely know the girl. She could be unemployed living with her mom for all I know, so if I was the one to call, I'll pay.

who cares
it doesnt matter if you pay for something thats worth less than $5.....dont let money come into play in the first date, but you could buy her a coffee or something small you know just as long as it doesnt seem that youre trying to buy her attention is all good.....

If you insist on splitting the bill it works just as if you were friends (note my use of words).

Need more info: you pay for what you bought/ordered and she does the same. Dinner: she pays for her meal, movie: she pays for her ticket.

But if you create an atmosphere of equality you'll likely be LJBF'd

Hey man i don't think you should treat this much different from being with a friend, if i was to go out with someone i would probably pay for a few things but not everything. You say you are seeing a movie with a hot chick i would not pay for the ticket if i were you but i might buy her a drink or something small like that and maybe something to eat if it is not that much to spend just so she doesn't think you are a total cheapskate and maybe ocassionally pay for everything if i were to keep seeing her but not all the time.

A universe...where heartbreak and sadness have bee
If you're just meeting for lunch or meeting up at a club or something, you shouldn't be paying for her. But if you're "taking her out," it's pretty much expected. A good woman will at least show some gratitude (a "thank you" or offering to pitch in for the tip or something), bear that in mind.

Just make sure you're spending the money for the right reasons. Never buy a girl anything to try to "win" her approval or affection, because you won't. If you're gonna do that, there are women down on the block who will allow you to conduct that transaction much more directly.

If you're short on cash, take her on a cheap-but-fun date. What I've found through experience is that if you've spend an inordinate amount of money on a woman on the first couple of dates, it's because you've lost control of the situation and you're probably letting this girl push you around.

And check her every now and then...tell her to get at least one round if you're out drinking, or if you're at the amusement park, tell her to buy you some funnel cake or something. (Hey, you paid $20 for her entry! :p )

Now if you're a REAL pimp, you MAY be able to get her to pay for everything, but only if she has low self-esteem. :D
