I just tried a little experiment. You know the game where two people in cars have to drive at each other and the first to lose his nerve has to swerve direction? Well I did it in pedestrian form, trying to keep to a straight line as I walked down the street (yeah, like that Verve video) and was surprised at some observations.

People tended to realise they were about to clash paths within about 20 feet of me. Normally it is about here that most MEN would make a barely conscious agreement to cooperate and avoid each others path. I found that if I ignored this urge almost all unaccompanied men will adjust their path completely and I could continue in a straight line perfectly. Perhaps this is because another man is a potential threat and nature has taught us to choose the path of least resistance over silly territorial pissing contests like my little experiment.

But with WOMEN I found that almost none would change their path at all. If I hadn't swerved at the last moment I would have knocked into most of them. I then looked at some women walking down the street and they were walking in a perfectly straight line as all the men dodged round them. It didn't matter if they were hotties or not, they just expected the men to get out of THEIR WAY.

Now it's quite possible that my alpha magnetism meant that these women wanted nothing more than to bump into me, but I think more people here will see it as proof of an AFC culture where men are polite and women take it for granted and don't respect it.

Try it and let me know what you think.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Well if some guy is walking in my path with his head down, I'd step out of the way, because I would assume he's daydreaming or something. It's common courtesy in most civilised countries.

Hahaha, I've pushed more stuck up hoes off the sidewalk than anyone here I'm sure (In a college town, particularly)

200 lb dude vs 130 pound Chick? hoe, you're getting bumped!

Sometimes I get a dirty look or comment or something, but who gives a damn anyways, I don't supplicate to anybody.

In the words of 50 Cent:

"***** get off the sidewalk and into the street. Sidewalk is for pimps."

I've been doing this for as long as i can remember, always have basically and never really "thought" about it untill a couple years ago. Women DO move but they wait for the longest time and then just sort of excuse themselves out of the way. Or you just run into them and they are either embarassed or call you a d!ckhead/assh0le/etc.

I don't move, ever... either they move or i'm running into em basically. Come to think of it... i've ran into LOADS of people in the past ;-)

Good post.

I did this experiment a couple of months ago aswell, noticed the same thing as you.

Its like chicks act like lethargic flies at the end of a hot day and just bump and bounce off you.

Another experiment I did over a couple of months was seeing which gender would wave me through and let me pull out in congested traffic situations the most. I found mostly men will let you through and women rarely.
Although that was in the city, I found the further you get out from the city the more chicks will let you through. But still with chicks trailing guys.

I've done this as well with a slightly different response. I don't know if you did this, but I look everyone in the eye who is approaching me. They all get out of the way long before they'd walk into me, but chicks still wait longer before they move. The same thing occured with groups, although groups of girls will move *just enough* that you *barely* miss them.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Yeah, I've done it with and without EC, and they clear easier with. The more I've been doing it the more annoyed I've got at the presumptious female, and the more I see it as an elementary shyt-test.

I almost wish I was single again, because literally bumping into a hottie then challenging her about why you should have to get out of her way would be a perfect opener. I'd even add that I'd been conducting this experiment and get her to explain herself.

I just can't help thinking, if it was a bull and a bunch of cows, the cows are getting out of the way.

Actualy with me women tend to be the first to move out the way. The trick is, if your going right at each other, just slow down, wlak slowly and the other person will be forced to move. If im in a rush then i have to move out of other peoples way.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

I've played around w. this same experiment in the past as well.

I've found most of the points here, to be the same.

One thing I noticed, was if I held like a line in my mind (or a point beyond them)... like I was going to some destination, on a mission... most people would get out of the way. (Vs. just normal walking down the street)

They would subconciously attune to the fact that I had somewhere to go/be. And adjust themselves accordingly.

Just another random observation about this, lol.

What I think, is that when a culture where men are polite, respectful and gentlemanly is considered 'AFC' then it's a sorry world indeed.

You guys want to conquer women left and right, but if you don't first show YOURSELVES enough self-respect to be men then you've got it all wrong. Being a man is about having dignity, self-respect, balls yes - that includes respecting others - but if that's at the price of good manners and basic human decency count me out.

None of you will become men until you realise that being a man isn't just about how badly you treat your woman so she'll be attracted to your 'jerkiness'.

All my life I've opened doors for women, let them go first where applicable, done all the 'chivalric' stuff and you know what, I bet I've had more girls than 90% of you guys on here. Some might argue "I've got the looks/muscles" - well fine, that's just a bonus. If you're scrawny and ugly, you might as well be polite and have SOMETHING going for you.

Oh, and you can be polite/charming AND be a devilish, seductive rogue as well. you CAN have both.

Now if you'll excuse me, it's time to eat.

I didn't start this experiment with any agenda, I thought it would be a good exercise for confidence building. The fact that most women believe they have the right to walk down the street in a straight line with men scuttling out of their way was an unexpected lesson.

You're right, combining politeness and charm with devilish rogueabiltiy is the ideal combination. I will go out of my way to open a door for a woman with a pushchair, and only a few hours ago I stopped one from rolling down the street into traffic. And in this instance got not a word of thanks. I have also noticed that in the event of accidentally bumping into a stranger, women rarely muster up the politeness to say 'excuse me' or whatever. If women want men to be 'chivalrous' then some gratitude or recognition is essential, or you can count me out.

Also, check out any chick-flick or romantic novel. Mostly the woman will initially find the man rude, or they will literally bump into each other. Later she will discover there was a good reason for his apparent rudeness and sleep with him. But never will they begin with the woman being impressed with him opening the door for her. Don't blame me for what women find sexy.

Yes, this is what I do now.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.
