"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Hey guys, you seem to be helping greatly... maybe you can help me out.... I usually wouldn't ask, but I'm at work so I might as well find something to do...

Ok heres the situation... my 2 good friends are leaving for the Air Force for 8 years.. they leave monday, and today is friday... we're having a going away party tomorrow night at my apartment.. I probably will know about half the people there... but for the ones I don't know, I want to keep them entertained.... having fun, you kno. Any tips on what to do for the party?

I haven't decided on what I'm going to wear, but I have a feeling I'm breaking out the striped socks from when I was a Mime for halloween :p

any games, ideas, etc.. for a party?
(remember this is an apartment... it's on the second floor, so it cant be too loud like jumping for some reason)

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

A lot of the parties that I've thrown involved a game of beer pong, and it's something people who don't know everyone usually gravitate to first. It's a team thing and helps get the socializing going. Just one idea.

I have seen beer pong in action. Good game.. but it can get kinda loud with people jumping around. At least the version i witness.

Im not a big party guy. But its always good to keep people interested, once the cellphone rings with another party option, and its snoozeville, you may just end up with only the most loyal of friends left over from a lame party.

I would say, set up a table for drinking games. Gets some cards. Stock up on beer and booze. Buy some stuff for mixed drinks "for the hot ladies" Maybe get a beer bong. Throw in a funny movie, or an action movie, something that people can look at, but not necessarily care to pay attention to. Its a party after all!

If you have an X box.. use it. I know it may sound lame. But many people just have fun messing around. Play some sports games. It can keep people entertained. Got a computer, mp3 player.. speaker system.. set up a playlist and play some songs. Take requests. Maybe it cant be loud, but you need to keep people entertained.

Make sure to keep the digital camera ready. Start good conversations, keep the party moving. And dont run out of beeer!

haha, thanks for the replies guys.
got most of that covered... the beer pong idea might not work well since I dont have a table long or big enough, and not enough room... but ill try to figure something out..... we're gonna have the laptop hooked up to the tv with music videos playing on it.. cant have the music too loud, but the tv speakers are just right......

im thinking twister... or something.... i have a dart board, but that could get dangerous! :p

thanks for the replies though, these things will come in handy.

about drinks...Bacardi's flavored rums are the best for chiicks. Bacardi O, Coco, Apple, etc...

Budlight for the men.

Try and get a tv going on with a good movie that everyone knows, and get a drinking card game going on. This is great for breaking the ice.

Also, let everyone know you're the host. you'll get laid :)

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

i've held a ton of sucsessful parties at college. Its pretty simple to pull if off.

Games: Bieruit, card games, drinking games. This provides entertainment for the groups unsure if they want to break their social circle. You will have 2-3 biug groups of people, you want them to mix. Several games will allow this to happen.

music: gotta have the girls dancing. Music lets the party flow. dont be afraid to put on classics that everyone can sing to later on in the night. truly a bonding moment

Multiple rooms: You want several rooms so people have to move around to be social. Also having slightly more quiet rooms allows for any sort of closing on chicks ;)

lastly, have some stuff stocked away so you can provide with some alcohol. We have a ton of crap we dont like, fruity stuff. chicks love this stuff. however, dont give it out freely to everyone, kinda keep it around for the more privlaged people. personally, I hook up friends if they need.

Enjoy hosting a party, it was the best fun I ever had in college, and the only time I really ever did well with chicks. Pretty lame huh.

edit: pick a fun theme where women are scantily dressed !!! the more engaged people are, the less likely they pick up and go. Our last party of the semester last year ended in 3 hot freshmen girls playing strip poker and being practically naked.
