Just so I understand this correctly, you approached an intersection, made a right turn on a red light, the cop saw you and let you off with a warning but the red light camera caught you and next thing you knew you received a ticket in the mail for $380.
Ok first off, you did make a mistake in not coming to a complete stop and checking for traffic before making the right turn. Was the mistake serious enough to warrant fine of $380? That depends on the traffic laws in your state, how old you are, and how many traffic violations you have had in the past.
