Just so I understand this correctly, you approached an intersection, made a right turn on a red light, the cop saw you and let you off with a warning but the red light camera caught you and next thing you knew you received a ticket in the mail for $380.

Ok first off, you did make a mistake in not coming to a complete stop and checking for traffic before making the right turn. Was the mistake serious enough to warrant fine of $380? That depends on the traffic laws in your state, how old you are, and how many traffic violations you have had in the past. If you honestly feel you do not deserve the ticket, you can always dispute it. Chances are you may not get the ticket revoked but you may walk away with not having to pay as much of a fine

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

I crossed a red light and cops told me everything is cool. The next day I get a $385 bill on the mail.

Actually, good point MacAvoy, that's amazingly quick. Did you read it carefully, maybe this ticket is from some other incident?
