"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Right so Friday was my birthday...

On Thursday I had an exam to write, and I invited this girl I met in class, with whom I've already gone to the beach with and stuff, to hang out with my friends and I on friday. I invited her actually when we were on the beach the weekend before. She asked me "so I'm invited?". I said "No I just tell people about my Birthday plans randomly "

Anyways she accepted. Then before our exam on thursday, she asked me if I owned rollerblades and wanted to go blading some time. I said of course I owned rollerblades. Which reminded me to tell her about my Friday plans. So I said "speaking of which, tomorrow's my Bday right, So I'll pick you up at 9".

She didn't seem to have any problem with that. So I decided to stretch my luck and asked her if she would be up to do something on Saturday (Canada Day). She told me she was helping her mom move so she would be busy.

Now here is the kicker. Come Friday (my birthday), I get an email at 6pm from her, her appologizing but saying that she can't make it. The move started early and she has a project due blah blah blah, but we will do something next weekend. The email sounded genuine and all but I couldn't help but feel ditched. So I didn't reply back to her 'till the next day.

I'm confused, did she ditch me or was she just busy? How much can I trust an email like that?

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

She ditched you... blame it on lack of interest... I mean, IT WAS YOUR BDAY for crying out loud...

Don't worry about over-analysing.. Us Men are known for it... How else did we get men to the moon...

Yeah but that only works if you assume I take a higher priority than her mom (family) so somehow I'd like to think I wasn't ditched because lack of interest:whistle:

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

A man that she has attraction for is always a higher priority since her mom will always be there for her.

Think what you want, but if you were to learn anything from this, its that you need to get her more interested in you before you reveal your deck of cards

@MacDiddy - well I guess the attraction isn't that high...but here are the latest developments.

I saw her yesterday in class. She wasn't expecting me to take that class. Anywho one of the first things she tells me is that she's bought roller blades and thus prompting me to make plans to go blading. But more on that later.

I also asked her how her Canada day was, and if she caught the fireworks. She said she had indeed caught the fireworks and she said "oh I really meant to call you but ... I don't have your number". To which I told her that I had told her my number over email twice already. Anyways later I find out that she went to a club on Canada day and she was telling me how she budded in line. So I asked if she was with a lot of people. To which she said, "no, just one other person. We were meeting more inside."

"just one other person"??? How ambiguous is that! So I'm going to assume here that it was a guy.

Some things just don't add up to me. If she's not interested then why keep going with the whole rollerblades thing and telling me she wanted to call me but didn't have my number. So there is interest and yet it seems shaddy.

So I decided not to make any plans with her about going rollerblading yesterday, but instead I think I'll call her up today and just ask her to go. That way it'll be more out of the blue.

Thoughts, comments?

Another thing I forgot to mention, was that I met one of her friends yesterday. Girl friend. And when she introduced me to her, I saw that reaction in her eyes, that "oh the guy you told me about" reaction.

Lets put it this way........Next time you see her......Play it a certain way to get the best results.

She will say "Hi, Sorry about missing your birthday"

Just treat it like she owes you one.....She now has to make it up to you. She has to qualify to you....This way your making yourself the prize and giving her a qualifier to achive to.

It will raise her intrest level....

You were also wrong to ask her about sat.....PLAY IT ONE DAY AT A TIME.

If you had a great night on friday....you could have asked her then if she was free.....Getting her on one date then asking for another the next day is abit wrong...makes you look needy.

As for over analyzing....I think you are because as it stands there is not enough to analyze.

Play it like i said above....SHE owes YOU. if she doesnt play up to your qualifier (which i doubt) then shes not intrested.

Hope this helps....Give us a shout with how it goes.

@Tomatoes - You're so right, I was thinking about the exact same thing. When I call her today, I'll make sure she knows she owes me one, I won't let her wiggle out.

Weird thing I've noticed with her is that she tries to explain her self a lot to me. Like why she couldn't call me, why she couldn't make it on Bday and the like. Makes her sound genuine but at the same time sounds like a game.

all chicks have their own agenda until they become yours... Don't let her set the agenda... like deciding when and how to go rollerblading...

I think rollerblading while it is fine since there is some commonality, is a serious waste of energy and not a good platform to dazzle a chick into agreeing to fcuk you. Just one fall and you'll look like a tool..

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Depends how good you are....How good she is....

I went skiing with a girl in the US I met and she lost control and fell down an unpisted run......she wasnt a great skier.

I went after her and guided her down to safty skiing down a run that was well out of her skill level. We sat half way down and had a rest....chat....and we made out then too.

We ended off hitting off that night....

So it depends on your skill and hers and how you use it.....No one likes a showoff.

Valid points. I don't plan to let her decide. In fact I've already decided on everything.

I'm looking forward to rollerblading because she says shes not all that good, which means holding her hand and hoping she falls on me! :p I don't plan to dazzle her, and I have no worries in falling, because when I fall, I fall in style. haha

Seriously this is more to me than just getting her to sleep with me.
1) shes not that type of girl (i think lol)
2) I'm looking for a relationship not a ons

My wing doesnt belive me....but i intiatally look for a relationship in most girls.....Fact of the matter is 95% of them piss me off too much in the first week and i end up nexting them.

What i have said above doesnt matter if you want to marry the girl.....its still the same plan i would use.

Spare us the BS. If you search your inner manhood, you'll find that your kok needs satisfaction as much as your desire not to be lonely...

You better pray she is that type of girl, coz all chicks love sex.

Whatever, but if she's not putting out... You need to move on... Theres just too much pu$$y out there to ignore

@Tomatoes - I know what you mean. But MacDiddy doesn't seem to agree as much.

@MacDiddy - I never said I wouldn't love to sleep with her, I simply said I'm looking for more. If all I get is sleeping with her, believe me I won't complain becuase she is a fine one.

But anyways the issue at hand is "hooking up" with her, regardless what exactly it leads to. So far it feels like I've walked up to her door and now we are standing there chatting, so time to barge in I think.

She doesn't jump on me but at the same time she doesn't come off completely careless. Her "excuses" have got me thinking though. Since most of our time is spent at school it doesn't leave much room for much kino or private conversations, so I hope rollerblading will provide a backdrop for that...

Tam da dum, update update update

So I call her and I say the perliminaries followed with "let's go rollerblading".
To which she says "ohhhhh I'd love to BUT I got to read the two book chapters for tomorrow and I have work early, I'm free all weekend"

Right ...

Then towards the end of the conversation, "ya I'd much rather go rollerblading but I gotta do this"

Excuses, excuses, excuses, its turning into a trend.

She has too many options. For example, the guy she went to the club with. She's not looking at you in a sexual context. You're the prize, the sooner you adopt this philosophy, the better off you'l be (and you'll be in control). Leave women in control and you're all but screwed.

I hear you loud and clear, time to adopt a new approach.

You are too right, she has too many options. She just got out of a relationship, shes not eager to get into one. She knows I'm interested and seems like she's starting to whip me around. Perhaps she's playing the hard to get game, either way shes setting the rules and I'm not liking it.

So the question is, what do I do now?

NEXT Her...

You get busy... If she calls, it'll be why your not interested in her anymore. She'll need an ego boost. If she ask/initiates a date or contact, tell her your busy, but be really genuine about it, so she doesn't think your lame. In this situation, a chick wants to get your ok to a meet in order to satisfy her ego. Of course she'll text you on the day that she can't make it... It all boils down to lack of interest which until addressed, she won't meet.

Well for **** sakes, I don't get it. She's the one who's been yanking my chain about going rollerblading. Like the day before yesterday, one of the first things she tells me is she got rollerblades. Hint hint? So yesterday I call her to go and now she's busy...

I don't get it. It's funny though, now that I think back to my call yesterday I said "Let's go rollerblading" and her response was "When? Now?" to which I said "well not NOW, but in the next 40 minutes" and then she came out with the "oh I'd love to but" crap. Which means she was stalling for an alibi. Like I don't like this game business. It's perfectly fine by me if she's not interested but please act like it. Instead she makes it seem like she wants to hang out then when it comes down to it, she makes up these excuses...

Of course it is possible that she does want to hang out, just that I'm not high enough on the *priority* list which is equal to not being interested because she's got too much leverage. sh1t...
