Right so Friday was my birthday...
On Thursday I had an exam to write, and I invited this girl I met in class, with whom I've already gone to the beach with and stuff, to hang out with my friends and I on friday. I invited her actually when we were on the beach the weekend before. She asked me "so I'm invited?". I said "No I just tell people about my Birthday plans randomly
"
Anyways she accepted. Then before our exam on thursday, she asked me if I owned rollerblades and wanted to go blading some time. I said of course I owned rollerblades. Which reminded me to tell her about my Friday plans. So I said "speaking of which, tomorrow's my Bday right, So I'll pick you up at 9".
She didn't seem to have any problem with that. So I decided to stretch my luck and asked her if she would be up to do something on Saturday (Canada Day). She told me she was helping her mom move so she would be busy.
Now here is the kicker. Come Friday (my birthday), I get an email at 6pm from her, her appologizing but saying that she can't make it. The move started early and she has a project due blah blah blah, but we will do something next weekend. The email sounded genuine and all but I couldn't help but feel ditched. So I didn't reply back to her 'till the next day.
I'm confused, did she ditch me or was she just busy? How much can I trust an email like that?
