Wow. Are you ... me?
Haha. I could have written the EXACT same thing man. Wierd!![]()
Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."
You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.
She's been waiting forty minutes.
Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.
She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.
Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.
Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.
Do they still sell the Honda 500? I know Kawasaki still sells the Ninja 500 (same model for the most part) really good first bike exellent choice either way though. You can usually sell those bikes for what they cost and when you're read get something with 1000+ dollar plastics.Originally posted by BrotherAP
I love going on snowboarding trips with my buds, getting drunk in the cabins and laid after the hill closes. Travelling, b!tches, boooze, and boarding - what more could you want.
Summertime, I love bikes. I'm getting a Honda CBR 500 - it'll be my first bike.
Also camping. With girls, of course.
You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.
And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.
Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.
The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

If they don't sell the 500, I'll go with the 600rr or get a used bike. The Kawasakis are nice too, but I think the hondas look better. I love the way those things look, the way the feel, and the way a girl has to wrap her arms around you if she wants a rideDo they still sell the Honda 500? R U sure you wanna go that expenc for a first bike? That's a 4K difference in bikes between a 500 and a 6RR. If you do end up getting an RR make sure you get some sliders to protect your plastics incase you drop it. They won't save your bike in a wreck but most people at least drop their bike or have them knocked over enough to invest in a decent set.Originally posted by BrotherAP
